Yea there were definitely some recruit looking people behind the UT bench. I didn't recognize any of them but I probably wouldn't anyway...

i wasn't aware of any visitors. those people behind the bench could have been family members of the three seniors. thats who i thought they were.

We sold out the game, said goodbye to two starters at Hopson's position, destroyed a divisional rival, hung a banner, and cut down the nets with many fans staying around well after the game was over. So, yes, I hope Scotty wasn't there - he might have been turned off. :p

i was at the game.. and i saw a tall guy who resembled scotty alot.. he was at least 6'6. or maybe 6'7.. its hard to tell from far away.. but he was sitting close to tatum and i saw them stand near each other and he seemed maybe a little bit taller..
and he sorta had his face too..
i was looking into binoculars, so i couldnt tell that good.. but once i saw him, my first instinct was that it was him..
he was the same skin color and everything.. i can tell that from the pics.. and he seemed the right height.
and his face resembled him but its hard to tell for sure by looking through binoculars, and only looking at his pics from rivals and scout when he's in a uniform..
so yea....

Unrelated (sorry): Tatum's name was mentioned a bit ago in this thread. Someone who took a turn in cutting down the net was on crutches. Did something happen to Tatum, or was that somebody else? Thanks.

Yeah it was Cameron, and he did have ankle surgery a little while ago.

Scotty has a pretty serious girlfriend and I believe she lives in Clarksville, Tennessee. Is that closer to Knoxville or Lexington? Young love always plays a factor in decision making.

I dont know if this was posted or not but Kentucky landed 6 foot 6 juco transfer yesterday. They now have miller the freshman Meeks juco guy jasper harris and liggins. That is a crowded backcourt with 5 guys at the 6ft 6 to 6 ft 8 range. Scotty really needs to look at those numbers he would get playing time but i dont think he would ever be the star there that he would be at TN.

I seriously doubt Hopson is worried about Ramon Harris stealing minutes from him.

Yeah i understand that Hat i was just saying with the players the still have left at the postion he plays plus the 3 recruits i think BCG either knows he isnt comming why waste another scholly on a 6 ft 6 shotting gaurd or small forward. I mean Miller and this Juco guy and Liggins at the point i dont think BCG wants to load his team up with 8 scholly players playing same type postions with same size. Just my thoughts maybe im wrong but i know Ramon Harris isnt a Scotty Hopson but Ramon does play tuff D which BCG loves.

Probably a little closer to Lexington. With the difference in distance though you are splitting hairs.
