SCOTUS fails to stop TX abortion law.

Joe Biden and his admin sux balls. And our nation will suffer for it immensely.
But still an improvement.

Recovering from the Trump fiasco was never going to be easy.
The Trump leg humpers are still doing all they can to drag us down.

The DOJ had asked the judge to grant a temporary restraining in an effort to block the state from enforcing the law

A federal judge denied a Department of Justice request to block enforcement of the controversial Texas abortion law.

The ruling comes two weeks after the Supreme Court voted in a 5-4 decision to let the Texas law remain in force, denying an emergency appeal from abortion providers to stay the law until legal challenges can be brought.

The new law went into effect on Sep. 1.

Texas Abortion Doctor, 83, reveals how he Performed 67 Terminations on final evening before state’s new law came into effect

  • Jasbir Ahluwalia, 83, performed 67 Abortions the night before the state’s ban on abortions after six weeks
An 83-year old abortion provider in Texas described his experience performing 67 terminations as the clock ticked on the eve of the state’s ban on abortions after six weeks.

Jasbir Ahluwalia, an ob-gyn at Whole Woman’s Health Clinic in Forth Worth, recalled the dramatic shift between working at breakneck speed to treat an influx of patients one night to coming back to see an empty office the next morning on September 1, when the law went into effect.

'I can't just sit back and watch us return to 1972': San Antonio OB/GYN says he VIOLATED new Texas Law by performing abortion after six-week limit

A San Antonio doctor says he performed an illegal abortion in protest of Texas’ new law that bans the procedure after the sixth week of pregnancy because he had a ‘duty of care’ to his patient.

Alan Braid, an OB/GYN physician, said he did the procedure while treating a woman at his clinic on the morning of September 6 - five days after the restrictive new law known as SB8 went into effect.

The woman was in her first trimester when the fetus was aborted, Braid wrote in The Washington Post, but the procedure was done beyond the six-week limit that is stated by law.

Supreme Court to Hear oral arguments Challenging Roe v. Wade on Dec. 1

The U.S. Supreme Court announced Monday that it will hear oral arguments in a Mississippi challenge to Roe v. Wade, the 1973 landmark ruling that effectively legalized abortion in America, on Dec. 1.

The case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, focuses on the 15-week abortion ban in Mississippi and will force the nation's highest court to determine "whether all pre-viability prohibitions on elective abortions are unconstitutional."

Well the judge has clearly stated his opinion on how he views Roe V Wade. I guess it will be up to the 5th to see if they agree. Regardless this needs to be expedited thru the system and have the legislation tested, one way or the other. I’m not a fan of it.

The law as it stands is a crock of hooey and needs to be struck down. And the head of Texas Right to Life revels in the collateral damage it is causing.

"We understand that our ethics and our commitment to human life does limit medicine ... from being as efficient as it wants to be," he said. "However, this is protecting innocent human life and seeking to protect these values."

What limitations is he talking about?

"For example, patient comes in, 17 weeks, with her water broken. That's a nonviable pregnancy. The biggest risk to the patient is that she could become infected," said Theresa Patton, an OB-GYN in Dallas.

In such cases, Patton said she'd normally offer medication to expedite the miscarriage and reduce the risk of infection, which can trigger a severe condition called sepsis. But she and other doctors say it's not clear under the law what constitutes a "medical emergency."

He's not Trump.
In 2024 we can move on to not Trump AND not Biden.
Progress.

Lol. What progress? You really think someone better is gonna step in? You are delusional. President after president it’s always the same. They all lie to get elected. Promise this and promise that yet fail to deliver. Why? Because of our crappy two party system.

When a Republican is in office the Democrats do everything in their power to stop anything from getting done. When a Democrat is in office, Republicans do the same thing. Both parties should do away with the petty party alliance BS and come together for what’s good for this country and it’s citizens. But that doesn’t happen. Instead, they bicker back and forth like high school girls fighting over who is gonna bang the QB.

Nothing is gonna change. Every 4 years we have two choices. Either a douche burger or a turd sandwich.
