Even if they drop the hammer on USC Kiffin and Ed will just run back to the league. Leaving USC with a mess.

USC will get a slap on the wrist at best. Most other schools would get hammered over something like this. Henderson's father should be ashamed at trying to game fame from his son's recruitment.

As much as we dislike Urban on this board, I think we got to admit he does things the right way as compared to X and O at USC.

Meaning you took that ridiculous article at face value. No, thanks.

Not to be philosophical, but this is prime example of what's wrong with society today. Who is the parent and who is the teenager? If you're over 30 you need to give up on your rap dreams and be an adult. Get a real job and be a real parent.

If USC doesn't get close to the death penalty, I will be shocked. Monte is wishing he wouldn't have left the NFL now. At least there you can pay your players and it's legal.
As much as it should happen, I just don't see it Eric. I know the NCAA has came down on some great programs like Bama but I just don't see it. I think USC gets some measure of punishment but I don't expect much. If they get nothing after 4 yrs of investigation, the NCAA needs to just close up shop.

Whoops. My bad. I'm so gullible. I forgot that you're privy to all of the violations that Urban has successfully swept under the rug and kept from the NCAA. Listen, I call them as I see them. Urban is a good coach, and appears to do it ethically. I'm not going to let my Tennessee loyalty cause me to believe differently just because it would make me feel better that he's beating our tail by cheating.

Yeah telling a player that God sent him a vision of him coaching the player from the sidelines and then saying that if it causes him to die then at least he'll die watching him play is REALLY doing things the right way!!!! :eek:lol:

There may be something going down at USC, why would CPC leave like he did in every interview I saw he loved coaching college football and left to go to the Seahawks? IMHO just to much stuff floating out there. Where there is smoke there is usually fire!!

USC is a NCAA cash cow they will sweep it under the rug and move on..

I hate saying that but its true.

I hate USC

No team, including USC, is bigger than college football. USC's suspension would be a drop in the bucket for the NCAA in terms of revenue. They were dogsh!t for a long time before Pete Carroll got there. Programs come and go. Ups and downs. Alabama was pretty mediocre from the time Gene Stalings left until Satan got there and as much as I hate to say it, they've long been the face of college football since Bear Bryant. Their mediocrity didn't bankrupt college football. Notre Dame's fall from grace doesn't seem to be ruining the sport either. Florida State and Miami? All I'm saying is just because USC has been the hot team lately doesn't mean that other teams won't snatch up their recruits when they're suspended and provide entertaining football that everyone's still going to watch, regardless of whether USC is on tv or not.

WTF does my being privy to anything have to do with that ridiculous article that claims to know text message info or what Meyer does in recruiting?

Lord knows he tells the truth and disciplines his team strongly. Why not assume he's respectable elsewhere too?

hahaha Great post.

Completely agree! They will give Monte life since he's close to death's doorway anyway. lil' kiff will get burned at the stake and Ed Orgeron will get probation because the NCAA realizes that he will eventually have a heart attack trying to rip his shirt off after a 6 pack of redbull.:realmad:

And just think if the USC job hadn't come open we could of been so lucky to have all this in our house for the next 5 years. I'm so glad this crew left.

Carroll did have issues with the AD. He also got total control of a West Coast team, which was sweeter than any offer he had in the past. Carroll wasn't a monumental failure at the pro game either; he had a decent record. Maybe he just wants to get rid of the only blemish on his legacy?

I could have just thrown you a THANKS but this was too funny for just that!

Urban is a respectfull, integrity-driven, member of the community who has only done the right thing, EVER.

He and Tebow are why bunnies are so sweet and why we give gifts at Christmas...

Contrast that with the message the Henderson's received from UrbanMeyer:

"I hope all is well and I apologize for not being able to make it up there to visit. I tried but my AD and doctor would not allow it. I know your family will be making a life-changing decision in the next few days. I want you to know that he will be taken care of here both as a student and as an athlete. The opportunity to be part of this great Gator Nation with the networking opportunities is unmatched. We have put together the #1 recruiting class in the country and Seantrel is the last missing piece. This class is similar to Tebow, Spikes, and Percy's class where they wanted to come together to be the best and they did! If you have any questions, I would love to speak w u. Go Gators! Urban"

"cough,cough bullsh*t cough,cough"

This "cash cow" garbage is getting annoying. Every major football school generates a massive amount of money in CFB SC is no different than UT, Texas, Bama, Ohio St. Or even Boise St etc. Last time I checked SC wasn't in the rose bowl last year
