I feel sad for minorities and citizens of inner cities. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't. They can keep the police in it's current form and be subject to continued and repeated acts of racism and bigotry that a lot of people on this board justify and approve of or abolish the police in it's current form and risk everything that comes with that.

LOL, the minorites you speak of are infinitely more likely to be victims of people of color than they are police. While it does happen in isolated incidents mistreatment by police is an issue so low on the issues African Americans deal with in a daily basis it's laughable.

While once is too much it's the equivalent of a person in need of a quadruple bypass insisting the doctors address their ingrown toenail first.

I would say it is more the equivalent of someone with a broken leg or broken arm trying to decide which one doctors should address first. Easy to say it's not a problem for African-Americans when you don't live it everyday too.
