I'm simply grossed out yet not surprised. You fools! She's been denied by a Bishop b/c she is so foul and ugly! This woman aborts and gives pardon to a doctor that performs late... like really really late (meaning the kid might have glasses, that's all.. not learning disabilities just an eye sight issue) term abortion. She's of the devil IMO. If you've never seen one of those videos about a late term abortion... well do it and suck it up b/c it's horrible and awful and should never ever happen.

The only thing I can find at all from her on pardons was that her first one was issued two months ago after being in office for 8 years. It was for a man who had a DUI 10 years ago. So unless she's been going on a pardon spree in the last two months, you're full of it.

Here is her statement on the abortion law she gave a veto.

"The US Supreme Court decisions make clear that any law regulating abortion must contain exceptions for pregnancies which endanger the woman’s life or health. However, SB 389 allows a variety of individuals to seek a court order preventing a woman from obtaining an abortion, even where it may be necessary to save her life. I am concerned that the bill is unconstitutional or even worse, endangers the lives of women.“ In addition, she expressed concern that the bill would ”likely encourage extensive litigation“ and that it ”unnecessarily jeopardizes the privacy of Kansas women’s confidential medical records."

So she gave an unconstitutional law a veto? Might want to hold off on your knee jerk reactions.

I actually kinda like this nomination, after reading more(or anything) about her. She's not too liberal on most positions, and has a good track record as governor.

At least the Catholic church did something about it, instead of encouraging it like this woman did

There are already provisions in the law that would give doctors the authority to perform an abortion if needed in emergency to save a mothers life isn't there? Serious question.....

by convincing young kids that it is a sin to use birth control the catholic church has probably caused more abortions than saved them

I don't know, and quite frankly, neither do you.

I do know that late term abortions are killing a person with a working nervous system, brain, heart, and responsive characteristics.

I also know that a clump of cells right after conception is just that, a clump of cells. This idea that the couple haven't even lit their cigarettes yet and there is already a third person in the room is ridiculous.

I just think the black and white answers both extremes label this issue as is wrong. There is a lot of grey here, and anybody that claims to know exactly when consciousness takes over and human life takes hold is being extremely dogmatic.
