I would like to hear the answer to this also. The three seniors had 13 points total. We were in position to score and just couldn't make a bucket. How is that coaching? The players just didn't compete in the second half. She kept putting AMASS in hoping she would wake up and never did. This loss falls strictly on the shoulders of the players. Please 'splain, all of you highly-paid college basketball coaches, how Holly was out coached today.
Please enlighten us stupid ones what she should have done. If you can't tell us specifically what she should have done, then you are just talking without having an idea. You can't be serious. Anyone who can see clearly knows that Holly was out-coached today. If you really need that explained to you then you know very little about basketball.
Jordan and CB made the all tourney team. Welch was the MVP. Jordan had a couple of early turnovers, but settled down and played a good game.

How about noticing when something clearly is not working and drawing up some other plays that hopefully will? South Carolina packed the paint yet that appeared to be the only place our players wanted to go with the ball. Even though it wasn't working, we kept doing it over and over again, only to have it fail over and over again. If something isn't working, at some point you've got to see that and change it. Lack of offensive sets is also obvious. Little to no movement from our players on offense. They often looked clueless out there today. This is a coaching problem.
Really love the specificity that Holly should draw up some new plays. That's really nailing it. She tried several different things and things we hadn't done before. Too bad you didn't even recognize it when we tried something different. SMDH....How about noticing when something clearly is not working and drawing up some other plays that hopefully will? Note to HW: Massengale didn't produce in the postseason her FR, SOPH, or JR years and she s 5 for 21 so far this year. There's an excellent chance the light won't come on in the NCAAT either.
Reynolds and Carter are solid for sure, but I'd give Middleton the bulk of Ariel's minutes going forward. At least there is potential that Middleton will produce on the big stage. And maybe give Dunbar and that stroke of hers a sniff too..
Ariel had a terrible game but she has been big since Izzy's injury. She needs to get her mind right though for the NCAAs. We need her to win the games.
