KBTX: Loftin: "Howdy."

4:24
KBTX: "It's not what wrong with the B12 as much as what's right for TAMU."

4:25
KBTX: Looking at it as a positive thing...greater visibility.

4:26
KBTX: Spoke to Slive at the Cotton Bowl...then again July 21 after board mtg.

4:26
KBTX: Off and on convos with Slive the last few weeks.

KBTX: Today's mtg means one thing: I am authorized to take actions. Asked if there was a timeline: "Not for me."

4:29 KBTX: Deflects question on whether he'd accept an invite from SEC. Monday August 15, 2011 4:29 KBTX

4:30 KBTX: Said he didn't expect anything to come from yesterday's SEC mtg. "Their press release speaks for itself."

:36 KBTX: Anything we do will be in the best interest of TAMU, State of TX. Also concerned about other B12 members. Monday August 15, 2011 4:36 KBTX

4:37 KBTX: Money is important...this is a 100-yr decision...B12 bylaws are confusing...must be clear on all things before taking steps. Monday August 15, 2011 4:37

KBTX
4:37 KBTX: There is a chance A&M could stay in the B12: "Certainly."

Loftin made it clear that he doesn't want the school to get screwed in the drive through so to speak. He was clear that we've only talked to the SEC and we will make sure we do what is best for the conference.

With that in mind, who thinks that the SEC won't get a huge pay increase if they add the aggies? It ain't the aggies as much as the fact that the pac12 just got bumped to a better contract than the current SEC tv deal.

Only a fool would stay with an uneven revenue share conference with possible forced games on the LHN..

YOu could give us Vandy instead of Kentucky and give Kentucky to SC, which I think would make more sense, since we are instate with Vandy.

Honestly, I think I'd rather have Kentucky. I'd rather not have to wait a few years between playing them to extend the streak.

My brother says it would be more likely for us to lose Florida (give them to SC) and us have Vandy, Kentucky and Bama...since those are more historic games.

While it would suck to lose the gators...it would help our annual schedule!
