SEC STANDINGS

How much does NET figure into selection committee's decisions?
1 factor. Supposedly the most important. But when all of our other metrics like RPI (way better metric) and strength of schedule are top 25 we are fine.

They take into consideration the no Rickea and injuries too

Again they are leaving a top 5 in SEC TN out of Tournament so

That is why we need everyone in the SEC to lose. If Kellie plays Tennessee Tech, ETSU, and Morehead St. instead of Fla St, Ohio St. and Indiana were probably something like 25 in the NET. Regardless I think is you finish in the top five in the SEC your in the tourney. Maybe not for long but your playing a game.

But if we played those games without Rickea, would we have won them all is the question.

How did Vandy get to 17 and 3 for the season well take a look. The win over Iowa State and Auburn are certainly their best two wins of the season. Do you think we would be 17 and 3 playing that same schedule. I say probably 19 and 1 since we beat Vandy and think we can beat Missouri.

Tennessee healthy would be undefeated with Vandy schedule.
Had already scrimmaged against NC State and by reports won the scrimmage.
Tennessee had a setback I believe when they played Team USA as one of their exhibitions and open the season with two games including one against a ranked opponent on the road in a short period of time. Even with this deck stacked against them, they loss by a point to Fl. St after leading in the 4th qtr and a missed jumper at the buzzer to win the game.
Tennessee with any team friendly schedule to start the season is likely undefeated or a 1-2 loss team.

I have to consider it like we were not healthy since that is the way it actually went.

I gotcha. I think undefeated not healthy. At first I said possibly 1-2 losses cause upsets do happen but I would say about a 95% chance with their schedule not healthy Tennessee would be undefeated.
Vandy in their non-conference were beaten by NC State.
Tennesse scrimmaged against NC State and won based on reports. Jewel Spear did not play in the scrimmage. We don’t know exactly who all played for NC State.
But injuries, the amount of games played early on for Tennessee including the Team USA exhibition to me seemed to have caused a setback for Tennessee that with Vandy schedule would have not been an issue.

I won’t take anyone’s opinion seriously if they can actually look at this and think we are “bad” or “barely a tournament team”

Team A looks kinda like Utah. Team B Tennessee. Team D has to be LSU they always play the sisters of the poor before the SEC. Team C NC St. Team E Team G Iowa Team F Florida St team G Texas just some wild guesses know I didn't get many right.
Utah is on there but not A. Great guesses tho some of those are actually very close. My point is we are being penalized for not playing Alcorn State and Mississippi Valley State Community Heritage College at home

2 Q4 games seperate us from 2 top 20 teams

Exactly and severely at that like the NCAA is now saying play the easy teams and beat the crap out of them if you want to be ranked highly.

Found SEC predicted final standings from Warren Nolan site

South Carolina 16 and 0
LSU 13 and 3
Tennessee 12 and 4
Ole Miss 12 and 4
Miss St 9 and 7
Vandy 7 and 9
Texas A&M 7 and 9
Arkansas 7 and 9
Alabama 6 and 10
Missouri 6 and 10
Florida 5 and 11
Auburn 5 and 11
Georgia 4 and 12
Kentucky 3 and 13

Don't agree with all of it, but would be very happy if we get to 12 and 4. I was thinking more like 10 and 6 hope I am wrong.

They did beat UCLA the number two team last night so sure that helped them some. The Pac 12 is rated the best conference in the nation still if all games in Q1 are the same we should at least be in the top 25 we have 4 Q1 wins.

Here is Utah they hammered the first five teams they played by huge margins. Guess that is a big help. This is exactly what you need to do to begin a season pound the little guys then win a few Q1 games.

All my number were pulled from Warren Nolan. We are actually higher in a few metrics on other sites.
