Carter took the last shot and did her usual FLOP but the ref’s just swallowed their whistle and went to the locker room ! 😈

Ark with a great comeback there. Not only does Carter flop with the best of them, she also dishes out a lot of contact. Glad we have no chance of playing them again.

Same here. Carter is a great player, but she's just a tad too arrogant for me to really pull for her, and the smug looks she sometimes gives after a successful flop rubs me the wrong way. I generally don't mind players who show a little "swag," but something about Carter's brand of it irritates me for some reason.

92 and 29 I knew taking Tennessee to win was a bad idea still wanted to do it and hope we could find a way. I didn't understand the game plan to try to run and play fast with a team that is a lot quicker than you are guess thought we could do it and we could not. Anyway like I said if they scored over seventy we were going to lose and 86 is totally outrageous. I hope were headed for the NCAA Tourney would be a good experience for this team to make it as they head into the spring and summer and try to get better. I also took A&M over Arkansas and Arkansas manages the one point win. Carter is a player that is either great or poor. She has always been a volume shooter to get her points. It is not unusual at all to see her stat line say 30 shots attempted and 23 point scored. Of course not everybody can score 23 points taking thirty shots, but my point is she is not a real efficient player and hasn't been over her entire career. She puts up big averages because of volume shooting and can get on streaks where she makes everything she shoots. Most of the time she shoots a lot more than her point total.


Two game left for the title and both should be interesting to watch.

South Carolina vs Arkansas Arkansas has a shooters chance everytime they play of course if they are missing they could get blown out. They have beaten some really good teams this season while also losing to some bad ones. I see this game as a win for South Carolina by about 15 points if Arkansas plays well. South Carolina 85 Arkansas 70

Game two finds Kentucky vs Mississippi State. I really think Kentucky can win this one and get to the title game. I expect a close game and since I am hating on Kentucky right now, and that is usually most of the time, I will go with Mississippi State to win this one. I see it Miss. St 77 Kentucky 73. Vic will have a good plan for Howard still if Kentucky can get the balanced scoring that they got against Tennessee will be hard to beat.

So my final will be Miss St vs SC which has been the norm for the SEC lately.

We need more than one. I can put Green in that category but we need a point guard that can really move and also shoot the ball.

I hope Green returns where she left off but have seen too many returns from knee injuries to expect she will return playing lights out.

Howard averages 18.0 field goal attempts per game and 23.3 points.
Carter averages 18.8 field goal attempts per game and 21.3 points.

Howard is the SEC POY, rightfully so. But offensively, Carter isn’t far off.

So Carter has a 1.13 which is average at best. I knew Howard was better 1.29 is excellent. Carter is way off .16 per shot attempt which is a lot. To add Carter is a .431 lifetime fied goal shooter which is not All American shooting.

Tennessee still in NCAA Tourney according to Creme we have slipped to number 11 with an arrow down but still not in the last four in which unless something terrible happens in tourneys means we should survive and get to play and still be the only team to have played in them all. One severe problem we have is how many teams are still playing that we beat during the season. That could hurt us a little but think we'll squeeze in again. If only Parker were eligible to play for us.

94 aand 29 two wins and 0 losses yesterday semifinals. So the two teams that have played most of the time will play again. Hopefully soon Tennessee will be back in this game.

South Carolina vs Mississippi State Miss St lost by two last time they played. I think it could be a close game again will go with SC to win 75 to 68

It will be a close game, Vic always out coaches Staley and Staley always has the better players. Almost every game between these two is ultra close.
