A Cinderella tourney run takes some lucky breaks and I think our draw is a really good start. These games seem somewhat doable. Of course Howard may go off for 50 on us, but I feel better about these matchups then alot of others we could have gotten.

I actually like that we play Thursday and don't skip til Friday. I think the benefit of getting use to the arena under game circumstances and getting first time jitters handled outweighs the wear and tear on the legs, even for a team with a short bench like outs. And I like night games more than day, keeps the natural rhythm of game day the players are use to, minus classes.

A deep run would be awesome. I want a double header Saturday, the men crush Auburn and then we come back that night and upset Miss St. Nice weekend.

So does Stephanie White get another year at Vandy? They have been historically bad in her four years there...

I'd fire her or any coach that doesn't get it done in four years. All the players are hers and they are not better than when she started. I will say the same thing about Harper if in four years were where we are now.

It was a Darth post about Stephane White at Vandy.
The few Vandy fans I know are done with her. Lost a lot of good kids and maybe over coaching from the bench during games. My friend who has season tickets said the kids are afraid to play the game. They all watch her constantly. Surprises me, I thought she would be good.

Ah, yes. I would agree sadly. Her intensity seems to be greater than her rapport with her team. Not a good combo. Players don’t respond well to being screamed at when that trust and relationship isn’t there. I don’t believe she will ever be a good fit at the college level. I’ve heard her complain several times about players having too much other stuff to focus on aside from basketball. Not a good look for a college coach, academics still come first. Particularly at an institution the caliber of Vanderbilt.

I think she’ll have more transfers again this season.

Balcomb continually did more with less at Vandy. The caliber of talent has improved significantly under White, but their play has gone down hill. Melanie always had them playing pretty well and got the most out of some outmatched players.

Another post talking about Vandy. I said I would fire her four years and not much results don't think she is going to get it done at Vandy.

Bama goes down very good for us and no way they can pass us even if we lose. Of course we don't want to lose. Georgia has got up to last four out. If they could beat SC which would be a miracle they would be in the NCAA.

Georgia is not a bad team they had some injuries that hurt them this season. But next season i look for them to be even better. They have two good recruits coming in Sarah Ashlee Baker and Zoesha Smith

Really thought they would take that game. Credit to the Georgia D today though. They never allowed Bama to get in any kind of rhythm. Staiti was a beast for the bulldogs today. Might have been the best game I’ve seen then play all season.

You know you have to defend the three ball against teams like Arkansas and other even if it means giving up a few drives to the basket. You let a team make double digit threes and your usually going to get beat. We did the very same thing when we played them wonder why coaches and players are so dense.

I had us beating Missouri and scoring 80 points and we end up with 64 our offense has been rather ragged last few games took a huge defensive effort to win. So went 4 and 0 in that round after a 1 and 1 first round to get to 90 and 27 for the season.

Four games tomorrow as the top seeds play for the first time.

Georgia vs South Carolina thank you Georgia for beating Bama. I would love to see you upset SC but that would be a miracle. South Carolina 77 Georgia 58

Arkansas goes against Texas A&M in one of the best games of the day. If you can guard the three point line and have a defender to stop some of the drives Arkansas can be had. I really want to go with Arkansas but think A&M is the better team. I just don't know how well Carter will play. Will she be awesome or shoot thirty times and make about 20 points. LSU looking great in their first win over Florida. I was expecting it to be a much more competitive game. They got a game tomorrow when they take on Mississippi State. I think this is going to be a great game LSU just plays a style that can make you ineffective on offense. I think Mississippi State probably wins by a few. Miss St 65 LSU 62 I will be pulling for LSU.

Tennessee vs Kentucky should be a good game if Davis finds a way to show up and play. Missouri was face guarding Davis most of the game and she didn't shoot very well. We'll have a tough time if we can't stop Howard need to hold her under thirty. Tennessee 71 Kentucky 70 I have to take Tennessee even though after tonight confidence is not that high. Not costing me anything so I will go with the Lady Vols.

Hard to believe were not in the tourney no matter the outcome of the game tomorrow. Hopefully by this time tomorrow night we'll have 22 wins.

I’m just going with my head. Arkansas is hot and I think they can beat TAMU but it will be tough. I like LSU but I’m taking Vic’s coaching and I’d love for the Vols to win but I need to see consistency. The SC game is a no brained.
