LSU will be 9 and 7 if they lose or Arkansas will be 9 and 7 if they lose. So one of them will be 9 and 7. They both own the tiebreaker over us so we have to win to get sixth if we lose were seventh. Sixth would mean a first game against Missouri vs Ole Miss winner if we win there on to play Miss St. The other way finish seventh we play Georgia vs Florida winner more than likely Bama comes into play if they lose to Vandy I haven't checked out that tiebreaker. I think if we finish seventh we'll play Florida and then on to probably Kentucky who looks to be the three seed.

LSU is in a strange position if they win looks like they will get the four seed as all they need is a Texas A&M loss to South Carolina. If LSU loses they will be the sixth or seventh seed depending on what Tennessee does.

my daughter got tickets to the Vandy-Kentucky game today. Will be going with the wife, daughter and son in law. Hopefully it will be a good game, but expect Howard to dominate.

in our game, predict Auburn 76, Tennessee 70 and someone from Auburn to have a career game. Hope I am wrong and will come on hear and eat crow if that happens.

Reviewing further looks like Georgia has the tiebreaker over Bama and Florida. Bama has the tiebreaker over Florida. If Bama wins they will be 8 and 8 and the number 8 seed. If they lose and Georgia wins Georgia will be the number 8 seed, Bama would be 9th, and Florida 10. If Florida wins and Bama loses then Bama still the number 8 seed and Florida 9 with Georgia slipping to ten. Does not look like Bama can avoid the 8 or 9 slot which means a game with SC in the second round. We need to win and really need Bama to lose to Missouri would be huge for us.

We really need Arkansas to best LSU. We finish 6th and get at least one bye.

Best case scenario today for UT is that all the higher ranked teams win. Little changes for the most part. Kentucky and A&M flip flop. We face the winner of MIZZOU and Ole Miss.

Would put us on the same side as Kentucky and MSST, two teams I would love to see us have a second go at.

A&M has 16 offensive rebounds so far against SC and still down 51-38 at the end of the 3rd

At the Vandy game. Vandy playing good defense, but Howard started shaking loose at the end of half. Vandy up 30-29 at the half.

Better close to that quarter, Jordan still a little out of control but having a positive impact the last few minutes. Better end of quarter execution, at least we got an open look, even if it was deep.

Have to play 10 more minutes of defense. I say put Kasi and Tamari both out there and see who fouls out first. Auburn looks a little tied, would be able to keep up with both bigs I think.

According to how all the tie breakers work with the results today that matter, UK will still be the 3 seed... The only reason I’m not more mad about the loss lol

87 and 25 Tennessee came through is a nail biter a game that went surprisingly different than expected. I expected a lot more scoring however us turning the ball over and Auburn unable to throw one in the ocean made for a ugly 56 to 55 Tennessee win. I'll take it we have played a lot better and lost. The A&M comes to mind when we left ten points at the free throw line and it cost us a two point loss. So on the the SEC Tourney and we'll be playing the winner of the Missouri vs Ole Miss game. As far as the other games Sunday everything went as planned expect an amazing performance by Vandy to beat Kentucky. I don't usually thank Vandy but thank you for helping Tennessee tie for third in the league.

Here are the two opening games of the SEC Tourney which starts on Wednesday:

Auburn vs Vanderbilt wow what a game both these teams can sometimes be very good if almost all the time being very bad. Both have fairly decent post players and a bundle of quick guards that are either decent shooters or can't shoot a lick so you never know what your gonna get and this game could go either way no clear pick here. I think I will go with Vanderbilt 67 to 62 even though Auburn certainly could win this game is totally a tossup.

Missouri vs Ole Miss Ole Miss is a better team than when we beat them by 56 points. They are now using a game plan to put up at least 25 threes and hope a lot of them go in. If they could make 12 like they did against us in the last game we played they could have a decent shot at upsetting Missouri. I think this could be a very close game. In the end however I could never pick Ole Miss to win they went 0 and 16 in the SEC with their best games being a 74 to 72 loss to Florida and a 52 to 44 loss to LSU. The winner is our opponent and neither can pressure you much so this should be a factor in our favor regardless of the winner. Missouri is certainly the overall better team and so I may pull for Ole Miss while picking Missouri to win 62 to 55.

Four games the next day Thursday.

Tennessee vs Ole Miss Missouri winner I will pick Tennessee will give the score in another post before the game Thursday have to see who we play first.

Bama vs Georgia another really excellent matchup either could win Bama is a team that can be a monster or a chicken you never know how they will play.

Probable final eight

South Carolina vs Alabama although I am hoping Georgia beats Alabama and were rid of them for the season.
Tennessee vs Kentucky see if we can play better they are beatable if you control Howard.
Miss St vs LSU that is if I decide to go with LSU which I probably will even though Florida could eliminate them.
Texas A&M vs Arkansas This is a game I want to see A&M should win but Arkansas always has a shooters chance of winning. They can go off and make 20 threes in a game will be fun to watch.

Regardless of how it all goes down we need the first game then we have games I really believe we can win. Of course fatigue will be a factor when you get to the round of four hopefully we find a way to get there.

I agree with most of this! Very nice! I too believe that the semifinals will be South Carolina vs. Texas A&M on one side and Tennessee vs. Miss St on the other.

My 2 teams to watch will be Arkansas and Auburn (I still believe they are better than they're record).

I think Tennessee will play with a fire and get rid of the idea of having to sweat it out on selection day and as such will likely get the wins needed in this tournament. I think they have no trouble on Thursday other than the rust most teams start off with. On Friday, I think they will play through the post and also try to contain Howard of my team (I'm just being a realist, I don't wear blue goggles lol) and get the win in the end (The game will be close, the winner by no more than 4-5 pts)

Watch for the rematch between Texas A&M and South Carolina.. A&M is getting some much needed rest right now. They didn't play well yesterday (although neither did Zia Cooke) and still only lost by 8 in Columbia which is a big deal I think. Either way, this could be a 1 possession game within the final few minutes.

It's going to be an exciting SEC Tournament! I'm going Friday and possibly through the weekend. Can't wait!

Auburn win 77 to 67 over Vandy. I had chosen Vandy after their strong game against Kentucky. The game came down to shooting the three and Auburn hit 8 today. Vandy also had 25 turnovers in the game. Auburn moves on to play Arkansas and I would say watch out Arkansas this will be a good game.

Congrats to Auburn. I love watching them play. And I must say Unique Thompson is the most beautiful basketball player I’ve ever seen. Oh how I wish she was a Lady Vol.

1 and 1 in the first round Auburn and Missouri move on.

Alabama vs Georgia should be a great game hopefully Georgia wins but the time they played only a one point game Georgia won 76 to 75 so another tossup game. Go with Georgia cause I hate Alabama a little more. Georgia 74 Bama 69

Auburn vs Arkansas The Auburn team over the last month has played some really great basketball. Makes you appreciate Tennessee being able to win on their home court even more. Arkansas 77 Auburn 68 I think Arkansas will shoot it well and Auburn will get a little tired late in the game.

LSU vs Florida To me this is another tossup game that could go either way. I wish I could see who is going to win in a crystal ball. I will take the higher seed LSU not at all confident however they can get it done. LSU 69 Florida 66

Tennessee vs Missouri We should be able to win if we pressure them on the three point line. They don't have much of an inside game are really good at shooting the three and making fouls shots if you let them get to the line. If we turn it over a lot in this game will be mostly unforced as they don't have the quickest guards no reason why we shouldn't score big points. I hope were ready cause I'm going big and saying Tennessee 80 Missouri 63

It would be a lovely day if we win and Georgia wins. I really don't care who wins the other two. If we win this one were headed to play Kentucky and I think it is a game we have a great shot at winning.
