SEC Ugliest helmets

I'm young and I think the pro combats are ugly. I haven't really found one pro combat that looks good. I prefer adida's modern throwback uniforms that they introduced in the Michigan-Notre Dame game last year.

1. I think Bama's helmets are stupid and bland.

2. I hate Florida's helmets, no one writes in cursive anymore d!ckheads.

3. I hate Texas A&M helmets, they tried to make their logo 3D in a 1D era.

4. I hate arkansas' helmets because it is hairy baccon.

5. I hate ole piss' helmet, again they outlawed cursive.

6. I hate MSU's helmets, MMMMMMMSTAte is dumb.

7. I hate Vandy's V or star helmets, it reminds me of a crappier Farragut.

8. I hate kentucky's helmets, everytime I see it I think of the United Kingdom.

9. I hate UGA's helmets, they make me think of a handicap sign.

10. I hate LSU's helmet, yellow and purple is gaudy, and the tiger looks like it was drawn by hellen keller.

11. I hate mizzou's helmet, I don't even know what it is anymore, and not knowing pisses me off.

12. I hate south carolina's helmet, it's just a stupid rooster with a C ring. Doesn't make sense, are the Cocke carolina.

13. I hate the SEC has so many schools cuz I had to go look up and figure out who I was forgetting.

14. I hate Auburn's helmet, it's just ghey, nothing to see there but ghey.

UT's helmet is pretty coo though

This isn't bias at all :)

Green Bay actually changed theirs to match Georgia's apparently

From UGAs website:
Since the Georgia "G"- though different in design and color- was similar to Green Bay's "G", Coach Dooley thought it best to clear the use of Georgia's new emblem with the NFL team. Athletic Director Joel Eaves called for permission which was granted. However, since its inception in 1961, the Green Bay "G" has been redesigned several times and now looks like Georgia's original 1964 "G." Georgia is proud that the Packers apparently liked the special nuances of the Bulldogs' forward-looking "G."

Don't have a problem with any of the helmets in the SEC. I wish LSU would permanently switch to the white helmet.

I agree. These old timers don't know what they are talking about, those uniforms are sick...

They don't know what they are talking about. They think recruits these days love to wear Adidas crap and they will be happy with it. Now days people don't care about tradition. Its cool to have but it gets old. I was a recruit in track and field last and I made sure I looked at everything that didn't matter. Like Uniforms, girls, dorms, and not the track program itself most of the time.

That is sure to boost your credibility around here. Good to see our youth have their priorities straight. (mostly being sarcastic here)

Agreed. Recruits know which programs are good traditionally and, to an extent, which programs have a "shot" at being really special during their time on the team. The problem is, there are a lot of programs that have a chance at winning a title in the next four years. When you're being recruited, you look at the little nuances that help a program stand out... and cool uniforms are one of those puzzle pieces.

I understand where the 50-year-old traditionalists are coming from, but they're not the ones being recruited to play at top-flight schools. People need to get with the times.

Did anyone say anything like this? All I've seen is people saying they're hideous. Not sure where all this other stuff is coming from.

Because everyone who doesn't like Nike's arena caliber travesties is 50.

Make me a list of the best schools right now, and tell me how many wear ultramodern unis most of the time. The fact is the USCs, LSUs, Bamas, etc. of college football stick to a timeless look most of the time with only moderate deviation. The schools with limited histories (like Mizzou in this very thread) that are trying to make a name for themselves are the ones that mess around with new unis every two years.
