SEC v Big Ten

Ha this is the thread of sweet sixteens do not matter. People on here said Pearl sucked in March but now having no one in the final four means your conference is awesome.

And most of the people that you mentioned have admitted that they were wrong. How's Florida's Final Four run working out so far?

I am not embarrassed to have said that if has the talent to get there. They barely lost a big game and they beat a better m state team than the one we meet in the elite 8. Anyone who looks at this years bracket knows that at least twenty teams had the talent tobmake it. I also told you v Nova was overrated and that there were no elite teams this year.

I can't believe you actually stooped to MHF's level. I thought you were better than that.

Sometimes, an opportunity is too good to pass up. This is one of those times. You obviously didn't suffer through his novellas earlier this year. I just wanted to remind him that all of us who ridiculed him earlier get the last laugh.

The SEC is better. It will be clear Sunday when the SEC has two teams left and the Big Ten has zero.

I said Elite 8 was the goal. To all the doubters and haters, keep hating.

Pearl has done this without elite talent, he will have elite talent from now on and everyone who doubted him will look idiotic.

Sorry, your theory holds no water.

I did. I read every stupid ass post he made. You two are so much alike which makes it so hard for the both of you to give it a rest. Really, I expected you to ignore his gibberish, but I suppose you have to much pride. Whoever ignores who first ... is definitely the bigger man.

Edit: The only difference, for your benefit, is that you have more nut hangers.

I am a jinx? Please keep pretending to be a sportswriter and saying Pearl can't coach defense and the vols wont make the elite 8. I was right about that and you were wrong. Pearl is a great coach and he is getting elite talent now.

Can we sticky this?

Hey MHF, what do you want to change the argument to now?

It has been almost 2 months now since our last pointless, meaningless, MHF prediction/analysis thread. I suppose its time for another.

Since hoops season is essentially over, I say we move on to another topic. Something beneficial to MHF in the long run. Perhaps fitting the square peg through the round hole. I'm sure he still has problems with that in day care.

Hatvol. :eek:lol:

You're talking about someone getting a prediction wrong? HAHAHAHA

The difference is that when Hat is wrong he doesn't show back up, completely rearrange his original argument and spew 9 paragraphs about how he is still right, while using reasoning that wouldn't make sense to Newton or Einstein.

We have all been wrong on some predictions this season. All of us have admitted so when it happens.

Hatvol may not write 9 paragraphs, but he makes horrible rationalizations like this one.

10. The fact I think there are a number of coaches who could get Tennessee to an Elite Eight

That is literally the worst argument I have ever read. :eek:lol:

So, your saying that you don't think there are a multiple # of coaches out there that can get UT to an elite 8?

:clapping:

You are as dense as hatvol.

Are there other coaches? I don't know. I'm not Ms. Cleo.

Are there other coaches that could have gotten Villanova out of the scond round? What about Kansas? How many coaches could have gotten Georgetown out of the first round? How many coaches could have gotten UK to the FF with 2 lottery picks and 2 other first round NBA picks.

See how dumb this game is?

Nevermind the fact that he neglected to add the rest of that quote. Nitwit was being a little nice.

Just because he said it doesn't matter anymore, doesn't change his opinion. Don't speak to me in the future unless spoken to. Gracias.

I was posting the relevant part of the post. What I left out doesn't change anything. How about actually responding to my post Hardwood?

Quite frankly, I'm not sure what your stating other than hypothetical BS.

Hat made the statement. "There are multiple coaches who could take UT to the elite 8".

You said that was the worst argument you have ever heard.

Since you obviously think that is stupid, I asked you if you really believed that there were no other coaches out there who could get UT to an elite 8.

You responded with hypothetical garbage about other schools.

You never answered my question in the first place, and now want to act like I am avoiding yours.

(Edit: it should be noted that I am not bashing Bruce Pearl. I fully believe he is the right coach for UT basketball, and has done a great job with the program. Pointing that out only because I don't want to start the whole Pearl argument with a bunch of people who only pop in here once a month and go crazy over anyone that posts something that looks even the least bit negative toward Pearl.)
