Yeah, the fact one of the guys they could have hired instead of your deity is in the Final Four this weekend shows the weakness of my position.

I am very critical of the character of the players he chose to recruit. I said it is something that needed to change with a quickness, and hopefully it has.


Hatvol asked me about Steve Forbes.

One thing you won't find in my post history is me ever claiming that Steve Forbes would ever be hired at Iow, or anywhere for that matter. I don't know that I've ever even mentioned Steve Forbes. Yet another blatant lie, in a long list, told by hatvol.

Got to hand it to HatVol. He has some large brass ones. The guy writes some informative and insightful blogs as well. Knows his basketball. He gets a lot of laughs from many readers(former players, coaches, people around the game)though, because he will bash Pearl at every opportunity ************ sleazebags like Calipari and Huggins. Now, I will be the first one to agree with anyone that Cal and Huggins can coach their arses off, but so can Pearl.

But instead of calling you out on you lack of mental prowess like I should and initially did, how about you actually respond to the entirety of my post rather than the first few words of it? So why is Huggs a sleazebag? I'm sure you can come up with something.

Not sure if he is a sleazebag or not, but I'm pretty sure close to none of his players graduated at Cincy, not sure what his WVa rate is, he was all about the paycheck and winning rather than developing his players off the court, can't deny it though College Basketball is a BUSINESS...Nice Gore Avatar, hope Frank gets properly incorporated into the offense next year

I'm sure that's patently false. Also, pretty sure Huggs would be glad to compare graduation rates with Bruce Pearl anytime.

Top 10, top 20 or top 5, what the deal here with everybody??? He is just the right coach at the right time for Tennessee... Enjoy it while it lasts. These are good times for our bball program.

Who is not enjoying it? I know I am, but it still doesn't change the fact he is not a top 10 coach at this point.

Actually it is not patently false. His graduation rate at Cincy was terrible. I don't know what it is at West Virginia. The guy can coach and has done a great job at West Virginia, but this is only his second final four.
