SEC's Mount Rushmore....by school

The same can be said about the relationship between Spurrier and Stoops, Meyer and Mullen, or even Jordan and Pippen. How great could Michael Jordan be....he never won anything without Scottie.

To suggest that Cut deserves more credit than Fulmer is just crazy talk.

I agree.

I am pretty sure Jordan won a national title without Scottie; Scottie never won anything without Jordan, though.

When Cutcliffe left Fulmer, the Vols, IMO, began their descent; both play-calling and player development on offense suffered, which was followed by less than stellar recruiting classes. When Cut returned, the Vols experienced a quick and material turnaround. Then, Cut left and "Fulmer's Program" fell apart.

Fulmer shoul be celebrated for the heights he took the program to, but he shoul also be burdened with the depths to which the program fell. That, IMO, disqualifies him from being one of the Top Four in the history of Tennessee football.

You mean the team that had James Worthy and Sam Perkins on it?

I like how you take Team sports and try to make everything individual.

You're a joke.

Was that an invalid response to the assertion that MJ never won anything without Scottie?

Wouldn't saying Peyton Manning should be esteemed be placing individual accomplishments above team accomplishments?

Thanks. I'm on pins and needles waiting for your 422nd post.

Fulmer presided over the 2nd most successful period in UT's football history.

If championships are the standard, then Chavis deserves more credit than Cut. UT won its last national title primary because of an all-world defense.

Bump for therealUT...

If championships are all you care about, why does Cut get more love than Chavis?

Chavis's D had more to do with UT's last national title than Cut's O.

Chavis hung around with Fulmer long enough to drive the program into the dirt; Fulmer and Chavis leave between 1999-2002, they both go above Cut.

Yeah...that makes perfect sense.... :loco:

Without Fulmer or Chavis, the 1998 run doesn't happen.

Solution is simple. No coach other than Neyland need be sculpted. The fourth spot goes to Sabanocchio.

How can you leave out John David Crow at A&M?

You gotta put Jerry Clower at MSU, no he wasn't an all American but he sure was proud to tell people he played at miss state lol. Woooooo shooot this thang!!

First time I heard of him, after a little research he seemed kinda like a big deal, he bumps off Ty Warren which was put on there jokingly anyway.

I think i'll bump Ray Goff off the Uga list and add Rambo. Baccari Rambo for those that have never heard of him.

Now Uga's Mount Rushmore consists of men named Champ, Mack Strong, Rambo, & Hershel. The baddest man of the group has the sissiest name. I put Mack Strong on there because I don't believe there has ever been a better name for a football player, he went hard as **** too. Imagine him blocking for Herschel

That's enough Georgia respect from me for a year.
