Senior Clemson RB Lyn-J Dixon

Go check out his highlights on YouTube. Saying he isn't better than what we have currently isn't accurate. Honestly, we don't really know what we have There's not enough of a body of work for any of them. What we do know is this kid has played on the biggest stage in college football and averaged 6.6 yards per carry.
HE DOESN’T BLOCK WELL THATS WHY HE GOT BEAT OUT THE PAST 4 YEARS!

It wouldn't have anything to do with being behind one of the best backs in college football and the ACC's all time leading rusher?
Travis Etienne averaged 90 yds a game rushing for his career. He broke the rushing record over 4 yrs and 55 games played against 90% mediocre teams.

I’ve watched almost every Clemson game the past 30 yrs because I live about 45 minutes from there and my extended family are big fans. Dixon has not really impressed me his 4 yrs at Clemson. If you are a Sr and you get beat out by a true freshman again, that should tell you and him something.

Technically Jalen Hurts didn't get beat out by a true freshman though. He started over Tua the entire season and then got replaced after his 1st half performance in the championship game. Tua was a sophomore the next season.

Will Shipley is a true freshman that pretty much immediately beat out Dixon. I'm not saying Dixon is a bad player either, just that the comparison is apples to oranges.

But then Hurts transferred to Oklahoma the next season because he was beat out by Tua, correct?

Didn’t say he didn’t, just said at the time Tua wasn’t a true freshman when he officially beat out Hurts, which he wasn’t, correct?

Tua had a full season and offseason under his belt of learning. Shipley immediately came in from high school and became the starter.

We got a walk on in rotation over Derrick Henry 2.0 doubt he comes

Doubt CJH ever lands above a 3 star Rb with his reputation as a passing Qb coach
I’m going to assume the Derrick Henry thing is sarcasm.

Heupel is not Mike Leach. His offenses have actually been well balanced between run and pass over the years.

Didn't see the context of the Senior-Freshman relationship from the previous posts.
