Seniors may not even try against Vandy

I do not see that happening at all. They have continued to stay together and compete despite the constant berating of the coaches and defense for the past several weeks. I believe they will do the opposite to prove who they are. Who wants to look back at their career and say I threw in the towel. MOST of these guys will not be playing at the next level and will want to take full advantage of every practice, game and experience. Too many people trying to keep stuff stirred up when they don't need to. We don't need them either. You can always find someone who has made an off the way comment. It doesn't mean it has merit.

I don't think most of them give a flip about "playing for UT" anymore (for those that ever did), but they will play hard out of personal pride and to not screw up any opportunities they may have to play at the next level.

104.5 was talking about this today and referenced back to the UK game at the end last year and said the players didn't want to go to a sucky bowl game then either. IMO I would say no player wants to lose

This. I think this team is tight and will play to win out for a bowl for the seniors.

Yes I agree the team is tight and they will try to win but unfortunately so will Vandy...we're 0-6 in the SEC by the way and Vandy has 4 SEC Wins....do you really think this team deserves a Bowl with who their wins came against
No Not Really

BS. Again, I say that I'm glad that they're the ones on the team and not the fans. It's pathetic that 18-22 year olds are handling this better than the rest of us. Thank goodness they have a good attitude through all this.

The problem is many of the posters who think up these stupid posts are themselves 18-22 years old. It is a shame that many of those who are less than 35 years of age have the same attitude. Our society is in decline more than our football team.We as parents and grand patents are responsible for these attitudes, so we have also failed. Society has almost no respect for authority, age, education, or other people's opinions. Many would rather lie than tell the truth as we have seen on this board.

There is the terrible coaching. Why did Dooley and staff stop doing everything that was working in the first half?

Could it be that we we out coached and Missouri made adjustments at half and things that worked in the first half didn't work at the start of the second?

This is a sickening idea. College is a special time and they will try to win. Sorry I am just not that jaded.

I also think the player's attitude has changed for the better and I give most of the credit for that to Dooley.

Most players at this level have a competitive disposition that would not allow this. Not focused, maybe but completely folding and not giving effort, I seriously doubt it.

I'm 18 years old. But yes, I look around at people my age and even those older and am ashamed a lot of the time. Honest to goodness though, I am so so proud of this team and their attitude. And to Dooley's credit, I think he is genuinely proud of them too...All this talk about him throwing them under the bus but you see it in his eyes that he's proud of them. They won't quit.

Link to something I heard on the radio?

Gee wiz.

I'm sure someone else here in Nashville heard it too.

And again it was a question...
