I think they'll try, but I don't think many players, other than the four-year srs, will be heartbroken to miss a bottom-tier bowl. It's been the worst of three awful years. Bray's time here has been no fun-- coaching changes, loss after loss, humiliation, frustration, being called out by fans and publicly chastised by his HC, who he doesn't seem to respect much. I'm sure Bray's ready to move on, which is unfortunate all around, because in better circumstances, he could have been a Heisman candidate.
Bet Hunter wouldn't mind skipping a low-tier bowl, as well, since it's one less chance for him to get hurt. It's just been a crappy year for everyone, and lots of people-- fans and players alike-- won't be sad to see it end. That's what's sad-- the fact that a year and a team that started out so promising turned into such a trainwreck.
