Five star and 8 million. Should be fine. Will have been in program 20 months. Ainge and Clausen played out of gate. Nico won't need a lot.

Will have experience growing pains and matter how many snaps this year...

Heupel more interested in winning games than getting youth experience. That is what he gets measured on

Tillman was essentially a non-factor last year. Matter of fact, he probably messed Hooker up more when he returned than he helped. Nah, if we have to have a top tier guy on this team to allow anyone to get space worth a poop, I'm not bought in.

He was the only one of the field that could break away. He was the only one on the field that allowed others to get open because he was doubled up. But you’re right, we are missing Fant too.

Nico will face a much tougher schedule. His success...and our teams success...will depend solely on how well Heupel does in the portal. UT is gonna need major success on both lines of scrimmage but especially the OL. A TE, WR and QB would also be high priorities.

Better get a darn Center out of the portal. Not having a true backup to our current one is a failure in recruiting and coaching imo. We have very young and talented WRs coming in. 5* Matthews should contribute immediately like Squirrel did last year. We will still have Bru and Squirrell on the roster. Better get another offensive analyst to help Halsley call plays.

the problem is numbers How many more in signing class do they intend to take? How many of the 19 seniors that can return will?

Right now, if ZERO seniors return,

they have the following scheduled to return

9 Juniors
11 Sophomores
33 freshman
20 in the signing class

that is 73 players not counting any of the senior class coming back. They can only carry 83 due to sanctions next year. They are still pursuing several players for the signing class including several JC lineman.

Without sending a lot of players away that are supposed to be back, I just don't see much room for portal players.

this may interest some of you on the QB discussion of true freshman...

this covers from 2003 signing class through the 2023 signing class. Used ON3 for 2023 but Rivals for all the others.

The players that are in BOLD, started at least half of their teams games as true freshman. there are 53 QBs listed that were 5 stars, 16 of them started at least half their teams games as true freshman.

Columns are

1. Year
2. Player
3. Team signed with
4. activity during freshman year
5. If they transferred, shows school transfer to. Also if something else happened to them noted in column 4
6. Freshman year statistics.

still a ton to play for and that was Joe's beat game yet....I expect bad calls in every game. Bama stole that...when you ignore the holdon their TD ... then act like somebody flagged a kickoff (which nobody does) and give us the ball on the 4 when the RULE ...if that did happen .... is on the 25.! and a team that gets more penalties than hell itself in a game grabs 1 for 5... Im good with the loss.. ya had to cheat to win and your players smack women...FU and everything that you cheated for ...@let the kids play the damn game!

"Is he or not" what? What does "That was Joe's beat game" mean? I have never heard that saying before. Who had to cheat to win? Tennessee won fair in Neyland in 22. Not my fault Alabama cannot kick field goals. Who from Tennessee smacked a girl? Where did I say any kickoff was flagged? What hold did I ever ignore? Love periods much?

Then you must have responded to the wrong person or have other issues because your response makes zero sense.
