Serious QB discussion

Heupel said that Nico was not brought in to redshirt. Take it for what it's worth. Nico may have an injury that the staff is not talking about. If Joe can't go, I like #21 to see some action.
I haven't read much about him yet but #13, (Moore), could possibly be a solid back-up. I know he knows the playbook. He just needs more live reps, imo.

I think there is more to Milroe not playing against South Florida than we will ever know. And Bama almost lost to USF - those backups were worse.
Yeah I got the feeling it was something else besides Saban trying out the other QB's

I think it was odd that when the other QB's were tanking, he did not put him into the game against USF. He was either trying to prove something to someone or could be that Milroe was not at 100%. It made no sense to not start him.

Could've been an injury or something off field that happened and that was Saban way of nipping it but yeah it didn't make too much sense

Any qb knows that if the safety sits on cover 3 you can’t throw to the middle.
Exactly how many times this season has Joe done that? You think JUST MAYBE that he did not see him there and it was not bad judgement but a bad read? Kind of like ASSUMPTIVE posts. Now it is possible that he still thought he could fit it in there, but we all suffer from a lack of knowledge on his motivations on this play.

I really doubt there is anyone left who thinks Milton is the guy to get us any kind of championship. But, other than the very untimely INT he is a stabilizing force and when he does run can do damage with his legs. I guess my question is do we stick with his game management and just give up on the passing game realizing our WRs are not exactly world class either or do we go ahead and give Nico his chance? My honest opinion, while likely to be unpopular, is not to throw Nico into his first start at Tuscaloosa. Start Milton but have Nico ready if our passing game is as impotent as it was tonight. We could try the two QB thing too.
Orr just play Nico. We are not getting a natty this year, play the long game and get him actual SEC game experience.
Another top class and we could be dangerous AF. We need him to be seasoned, not getting broke in.

Tell me if I’m wrong, but I know that Taj Boyd wanted to come here, but Kiffin told him to go elsewhere.

I think Trevor Lawrence wanted to come here, but I think it was Butch who was not interested.

Then did Penix not want to come, but Pruitt didn’t want him?

Am I incorrect on the last two Lawrence and Penix?

If a player is handcuffing your team he is the problem. Just can’t lead a team with play like this.

It absolutely did. Kids played well…outside the blind side sack, solid game

13 point lead in the second half. Defense giving up 20 doesn’t help
It would not matter if this guy could just complete passes in critical plays. He is abysmal as a QB.
Throw 90 yards (check)
Runs fast. (Check)
Makes good decisions (nope).
