these storms are still dropping tornadoes in east arkansas, and they seem to be strengthening. good luck west tennessee.

Normally the only danger from squall lines are straight line winds. In this situation tonight, tornados are forming on the leading edge of the squall lines or the "heads" of some of the squall lines are rotating. Very dangerous, especially now that its night time.

as was i but he seems quite knowledgeable. I hope everyone stays safe. I really hate that dish network gives me only paducah networking so i cant really see whats coming our way

There must be more expected to form behind the line of storms currently approaching Memphis. Knoxville has a high chance of strong storms tomorrow evening and Wednesday evening.

Look for the hook signature on doppler, that is a true sign of a tornoado forming.

The bulk will be Wednesday night. This front is going to stall over West Tn. sometime tomorrow. Two low pressure systems wil track along the front, with the one late Tuesday night, pushing the front eastward. Bad weather for Middle Tn. late Tuesday early Wednesday morning. Knoxville overnight Wednesday

Uncles here! All were farmers and watched the weather close. I heard all about how the chickens and birds act before a bad storm. Leaves on the trees, how they blow in the wind.
