Thats a good sign. When the storms build, you should feel a warm wind that will normally shift towards the direction of the storm. Thats the warm moist air being pulled into the storm. Cool air means that the storms have reached their cap, or the point in the atmosphere that warm air is allowed to lift. The cool air is coming from within the core of the storm.
It wasn't what I was expecting. The real strong winds lasted about 5-10 minutes then slowed down as did the rain. Its still thundering/lightening & raining but nothing serious.
