If you're a praying person, I'd say a prayer for everyone in the line of these storms tonight. I've never seen that kind of warning that the Weather Channel had on today.

That storm just turned east and the rotation is just west of Millington. Looks like its going to follow I-40

Protects you from flying debris. Alot of people die in tornadoes from head injuries from flying debris. That and cushion the impact of objects falling on top of you.

Well its finally raining here, I think its getting close.

HWY 51 in Millington is closed due to downed power lines.

One heading toward SE Shelby Co. (Germantown, Collierville)

Yep. You would think me Memphis being "the bluff city" that the bluffs would deaden a lot of the severe weather. We have been lucky enough to avoid a lot of tornadoes because of the Chickasaw bluff in Lauderdale County.
