Its known by many that lamonte has a rep for getting all he can for his clients, all I'm saying "IF" he kept turning down offers from UT then calling TN a fantasyland that makes him scum or jon gruden one.
I'm pretty sure Jon Gruden is Bob Lamonte's boss. If you don't like the agent than don't like the candidate. Bob Lamonte doesn't decide where Gruden coaches, Jon does.

I didn't interpret his quote as putting down TN. He said "This, to me, is just a fantasy world." I suspect he intended to refer to the reports as being unfounded. It is a fantasy world if no true negotiations had taken place. The whole story about JG's interest in the job and the supposed offers now appear to be rumors and not based upon any element of truth.
It is an agent's job to get as much money as possible for their client. However, it is the client's decision to accept an offer or not. If JG wanted to coach TN and TN wanted him to coach, then a deal would have been completed with or without Lamonte.

Jon Gruden shouldn't get to comfy at ESPN. The life expectancy of a sportscaster is the same as a housefly. He may miss his window of opportunity. :birgits_giggle:
I think we bust him up a little. Break his right thumb perhaps. Fantasy world......absolutely no reason for saying that. He might think that, but you don't say it.
