Question I have, and I dont know the answer, is would any of the proposed legislation have stopped any of the mass shootings? Hasnt there been a stat showing most if not all mass shooters being on some sort of anti depressant med?

Same here, I don't own any guns. But I live in rural West Tennessee, so basically everyone else I know has at least one. And I'm cool with that.

I don't know if any of the proposed legislation would work either. I'm not sure about the stat on anti-depressants and mass shooters. If it is out there, I've never heard or read about it.

I agree but I also think the mass prescriptions of depression and ADHD drugs needs to be investigated.

Best to look in to everything if we are going to actually address the problem. Get the data and then go from there.

Some people do need anti-depressants and ADHD medication, I don't think we should demonize them. But there is a lot of money tied up in Pharma, so I have no doubt far too many people are on them that don't need to be. Same with the opioid crisis.

Gun control is an issue I've always struggled with personally. I see both sides of the arguments presented. I just don't know, I've never been able to make my mind up about it.

Surely there must be a middle ground somewhere? I'm not sure what it is. Seems like no one will back down on either side, yell at each other, then forget about it until the next one happens. Rinse and repeat cycle.

There is a middle ground and 70% of the population will be unhappy with that middle ground.

I have the Marlin Camp Gun on top in 9mm, .45 ACP, and the same model in a .22 Magnum that has a longer barrel. The one pictured is the first version with a plain stock . My 9mm looks identical to that one, and my .45 ACP has the newer checkered stock and an orange front sight.

My mother and brother were textbook examples of ADHD, but luckily they had it before the medical field had a diagnosis, so they just lived with it. No pills, no nothing, and they did just fine. I think that I could have used some kind of drug to help me deal with them.
