They wrote it so “we the people” could stand up to our government. They were also smart enough to put a mechanism in place to change their views should “we the people” deem necessary. They were also smart enough to understand it shouldn’t be a democracy. Take the outlines legal path to change ****. Quit trying to be authoritarian and pretend like you know what they meant. They gave us avenues for change. Use them.
