I splurged at Five Guys today for the first time in quite a while, so when did they start charging almost $11 for a burger?

Do they still give you a grocery bag of fries?

Ha. Same experience last night. Got it to go for family. No drinks. $50 for 5 people.

$70 for 5 here after a 10% tip and tax. I've got a couple of big teenage boys now, though. No more little burgers for them.

Oh yes, and malt vinegar is now in packets there so you can take it home.

Also, the calorie count is on the menu for each item. We don't need that.

Just did one last run to the CLE to clean out our storage unit.

Gas in W Maryland: 3.19
Gas in Pennsylvania: 3.55+
Gas in NEOH: 3.12

Just the other day it was $2.85 .... then the very next day it went to $2.99 ... 14 cent jump over night w/no warning what so ever. The gas price will never recede that fast. It's so stunning.

Speculators hold way too much sway over things.

That is probably one of your better takes. They were pointed out to the cause in the price wises in fuel around 2008/2009 time frame and everybody seemed to brush it off at the time.

Haha, yeah, it was a moment of weakness after two early morning basketball games. My stomach was in shock all afternoon.

And Ras is right, we eat really healthy most every meal. I do need a good steak about once a week, though!

I moved in with Luther. Gas is $1.77 a gallon and hamburger meat is .65 cents per pound with absolutely no shortages there are literally 15 of every item in the store including cream cheese and Fritos!!
