I moved in with Luther. Gas is $1.77 a gallon and hamburger meat is .65 cents per pound with absolutely no shortages there are literally 15 of every item in the store including cream cheese and Fritos!!

I remember paying $5+ the day we had to take our newborn son to Children's in Knoxville.

Speculators hold way too much sway over things.

It is a double edged sword for sure, however we have to do everything in our power to keep feds from regulation any crucial market. That will just make things worse.

The really sad thing is that I guarantee that the primarily responsible party, Joe Biden, hasn’t had to do without a single item he needs or desires. The price of wings have gone up significantly over the last 5 to 7 years. So that's not a recent issue.

Just saw last night that wing prices have come down to a more reasonable level. Not sure how long this will last, though.

I splurged at Five Guys today for the first time in quite a while, so when did they start charging almost $11 for a burger?

Back in the 90’s / early 00’s, I used to go to the original Five Guys in Arlington, VA, long before they were franchised. I knew the Five Guys (a father and his sons) because they were always there working the grill and registers. It was a hole in the wall type place that was in an old strip center in not such a good area of town.
