Should have been our ball on the sideline with

Its a tough call to make in real time. But had they gone to the monitor like they should have, there was conclusive evidence to overturn....

Unless you saw an angle I didn't, I don't see any conclusive evidence to overturn. From what I see his right foot plants inbounds and he flings the ball and his left foot looks still in the air and doesn't hit out of bounds until right after he flung it. Unless they had a closer view slowed down, they wouldn't overturn that.

Exactly! Players have to execute and play hard within their ability. I watched a lot of 80% effort away from the ball during the game.

If players are only going to give 80% effort, do you think the coach should let it happen.

I can think of a couple of coaches over the years that didn’t allow that. They weren’t my favorite team’s coach, but the truth is they didn’t allow that to happen.

Unless they have a closer angle, not going to overturn that because in real time you can't tell if his foot has come down or not. A still shot doesn't show that he planted with his right and flung himself forward and his left foot is coming down at the same time he's flinging.

DWhite may have made $500k thou. Vandy stormed the field after Alabama football game & I think it was their 2nd offense ($250k). Isn’t the 3rd $500k?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is 0.6 seconds even nearly enough time to pass the ball into a player AND then said player get the ball out of their hands for a shot?

Just barely. Oddly enough the other night South Carolina was able to get a shot off against Vanderbilt with that exact amount of time left, but they missed it.

I do. Some of the worst officiating I’ve seen in a while especially in the first half. That crew was horrendous.

I was listening on the radio and at one point the ball went out of bounds and Bob made it sound like all three officials looked at one another, couldn’t figure out who it went off of, shrugged and just gave the ball to Vanderbilt.

Isn’t this exactly why we have replay?

I definitely think CRB is a good coach but wth was he thinking benching ZZ with 7min left in the first half? Boneheaded move imho

ZZ sits several minutes every game. Doing it after picking up a second quick foul isn’t a bad time to do that. TN was only down by 2 points before Vandy’s last first half possession. I suppose he was thinking stealing as many minutes as possible while avoiding a desperate foul situation makes sense.

If ZZ had played & he got his 3rd foul, everyone would be saying “he should have taken ZZ out”. They lost the game in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half with terrible defensive effort.

We got it down to 2 points and Mashack made an absolutely bonehead play giving up a 3 and fouling and we go down 6 instead. Not sure how that is on Barnes. Also we went on to lose by 1 so maybe Mashack should stop fouling 3 point shooters.

Lucky for you this is an anonymous board.

ZZ does that more than anyone. Igor switched on the last 1st half play and Mashack didn't, then tried to recover.....

I feel like in first half he could have played a few minutes there. I don’t get that at all. If he gets a third foul so what. He is a smart player. That is where game was lost.
