I think Charlles Davis gave us a little idea about what John Ward thought about that attitude and I guarantee you there’s a lot of people who have no love for the Tennessee Vols that know what Pat Summit would’ve thought about it, or JJ McCluskey, or a lot of others around the walls over the years.

I am a CRB fan and have never advocated for any UT coach to be fired, as I don't have the information that DW has, so how can I even make a statement about the topic.

Nor have I said it was OK to lose by 30, but I do understand it happens. Matter of fact, it has happened in the NCAA championship game. Pat got blown out and few times by UConn and John Ward as great as he was, is a radio guy not a coach or player.

I now understand you are one of those who think we should upset better teams but should never get upset ourselves. I wish I could live in your fantasy world, but reality means to much to me.

I see you can't come up with a team that has never been upset in their history. It isn't OK but it does happen from time to time. Based off your point of view, we should have never beaten Miami in the Sugar Bowl. We should have never beat Bama in 2022.

Should we upset better teams? I'll wait.......

So according to you, the better team should always win. That getting beat by an underdog is inexcusable.

So why play the game, just let Vegas pick who wins and loses.

This is just all theoretical. No one is happy with the results, but Pat Summitt lost basketball games. It happens. Guys will never play perfect games, and 99.9% of teams will never play perfect seasons. You can expect certain things, but the reality is that teams lose games. Learn from it and improve. We will lose again, so you just want your team to play its best in March.

And Pat Summit never seemed to be trying to just to hold on, although the ladies certainly had to do that at point. Once again, Iunderstand that people can lose a basketball game, but once again, that is not what I’m talking about.

You keep on saying the same thing until you switch and you still haven’t said why it was justifiable that we lost to Florida by 30 then after fortunately beating Texas in Georgia lost of Vanderbilt.

We shot around 23% from the field that night, so yeah, that will usually get you beat by a ton. Are you saying we should always shot well from the field? Should we hardly ever turn the ball over?

NO ONE HERE IS HAPPY ABOUT LOSING TO UF BY 30. We are just realize that sometimes it happens. Your point of it being inexcusable to lose to UF by 30 and your implying we suck because of it, is ridiculous.

So I guess Duke should have shut their program down when they lost the NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP game by 30. I cant imagine your reaction to that, make the title game and get beat by 30, that is probably before your time though.
Did they deserve to even be in that game since they lost by 30?

Mostly recruiting. Also putting the players in position to win. Managing the culture. The things that you’ve listed are mostly on the players and indirectly on the coaches for assembling that personnel (players and staff),
