Should you only be a fan of one school?

Unless you are cheering for your alma mater along with the vols, you are more than likely a wagon jumper if you have different favorite schools. You shouldn't just a cheer a school for one sport, if you are true fan, you will cheer for the university to do well as a whole.

I have a friend that's a Tennessee football fan and a Kentucky basketball fan, he had the nerve to tell me (talking about Tennessee basketball) "y'all suck"! I don't know how "we" transists to "y'all" then back to "we".....

For any of you that have never relocated, here's one scenario of how it works:

You are born and raised (through 8th grade) in North Carolina and, thus, a Tar Heel born and bred. Then, your dad gets a job in Chattanooga and despite some of the more obnoxious "fans" you develop a spot in your heart for the Vols...and get your undergrad and graduate degrees from a UT system institution. That makes it really easy to be a fan of two schools.

Any questions?

Vols and Vols only.....I pray every night for all other SEC schools to get the death penalty from the NCAA

I cheer for other schools sometimes when it doesn't cross UT. Those other schools are usually ones my family went to or 1aa schools.

This is the crap I hate, when it's obvious someone likes a strong football tradition school and then roots for a strong basketball tradition school. For the life of me I can't understand how one can wear the colors of one team in the fall then totally trash same colors in the winter.

I get the relocation thing and I don't have a problem in having a secondary team you pull for, but I don't get at all having 2 primary teams that are different. There are a few acceptable exceptions, which I'm pretty sure most don't fit. It's no mistake that the vast majority of the time it's a good football program and a good basketball program. Around here you see UT football/Kentucky basketball, UT/UNC Basketball, UT/Memphis basketball.....and that's bandwagoning no matter how you slice it. It's not like someone picks Vandy football and MTSU basketball.

I pull for a lot of different teams, that I have ties to either through living there or association with my parents. Beyond that I actually actively root against all other SEX teams.

Do you have to pay extra for that channel?

I always pull for the Vols, I have a couple of other teams in basketball that I like but I dont really care if they lose, unlike the Vols. In most cases I pull for players not really the team. The bandwagon fans bugs the crap out of me. I have an family that likes duke bb,.bama fb. Have a buddy that was a gator fan when they were good then bama once they got saban and claimed to always be a bammer. I'll be a vol no matter what

Vandy fans have to be bandwagon fans because there is not a person on earth that could reasonably put up with that much losing. Naturally they find other teams to follow due to the fact that Vanderbilt is just that ****ty.

I would hate to get injured in another state and bleed orange all over it. I still get goose bumps when I hear the national anthem ( Rocky Top ). :)
