Shouldn't we be ranked next week? I mean, we are holding our own against the top schools in the nation. Surly we are in the top 25? Of course...NCAA, EasSPN, and the college presidents don't want us in there, but seems like we are good enough.

No we shouldn't be ranked but I do believe we are one of the best 25 teams in the nation right now. Even with the horrible offensive line play, we have competed with two top tier programs on the road. This team has shown the willingness to fight for 60 minutes and that shows a lot of growth in our team alone with all the youngsters we got playing. If Worley stays healthy and we get Pearson and Smith back then this team is going to beat a team or two they're not supposed to beat. I'm a negavol most times, but I honestly think we win today if Worley doesn't get hurt, and that's with Pearson and Smith already out. We don't deserve to be ranked based on a 2-2 record, but I guarantee you opposing coaches are not taking us lightly, and we are only going to get better as the youngsters continue to get game experience. These kids are playing their hearts out and it's only a matter of time before it starts showing up in the win column.

You can't justify us being ranked at all, but we might be one of the top 25 teams in the country.

For example, 20-25 right now is Ohio St, BYU, USC, Duke, East Carolina, and Kansas St (Coaches Poll). I think we would have a very decent chance at beating any of those, although it would matter a lot if it was at home or on the road for some of them.
