I don't blame anybody for hating the SEC. Outside of the Vols I'm sick of the SEC. The SEC chest pounding absolutely nauseates me.

Of course not. Any coach in the country can do that and its just a mistake. Except for Butch Jones.

I just moved to Memphis about four months ago, and I work with a lot of Memphis fans, and they sure love bragging about their team being the "best" team in the state. I don't get their hate for UT. I also hate going to a bar and being told that the UT game must be switched off for the Memphis game.

I would love to see them in a bowl game and remind them of their place. They could very well lose again to Temple on Saturday and that's three losses.

Also my experience with Memphis fans so far is that they really do like being called Memphis State.

Big brother has defecated all over itself in football for a solid decade. ...this their "sun shining on a dog's ass" moment.

It definitely isn't my blood pressure, man. Honestly, I have no problem with Memphis. I'm even working on my Master at UM. I think they have a pretty good team this year, although I still personally think UT would win head to head.

However, I can be at a bar peacefully watching a game and Memphis fans will start trash talking me for no reason. It definitely isn't very friendly trash talk either. I don't even have to be talking to them either. I just laugh it off, but it's really annoying when I just want to enjoy the UT game. I know this hasn't only been my experience when other UT fans tell me about it happening to them. Obviously that doesn't account for most of their fans, as every fan base has those fans, but yeah, I've heard more trash talk in the past four months from Memphis fans than from anyone I know from Alabama or Florida.
