Anything saying that a candidate other than Obama will win this election is a total joke.

Exactly. His track record has been spotless, the economy never matters and the economy is improving by leaps and bounds daily. Who can imagine the incumbent struggling, especially one with such a strong track record of success prior to taking office.

USA Today/Gallup just did a poll and in what they described as 12 battleground states and to the question made famous by Reagan; "Are you better off today than you were four years ago?" the answer was NO by a margin of 56 - 40 among registered voters.

It doesn't bode well for Obama.

What I don't understand is why anyone would want Obama for another four years.

Except that they blame the current republican congress, the 1 pct, and Bush for it

Lol. The first 2 years was a Dem controlled congress with Obama, no?

Why is it no longer a Dem controlled congress? Hard to imagine the House flipping the way it did with things being on the up and up.

Romney is not the perfect choice but i am truly afraid what four more years of obama would do to this country.

If the GOP gains control of the Senate you have nothing to worry about. Actually, that is the best (realistic) possible thing that could happen; Obama winning the Presidency and the GOP taking over the Senate.

I dont want another 4 years of gridlock.

I want change.

I want drilling opened up here, the keystone pipeline put back on the table, fracking, deregulation of businesses, smaller government, etc etc etc.

1) "Another" four year of grid lock? In the first two years of his term, Obama enjoyed having control over both houses of Congress. Hence, the shoving of Obamacare down our throats.

2) Do you remember the last time Republicans had control of the House, Senate, and White House? Yeah, it wasn't pretty.

Having the House, Senate, and White House all controlled by the same party is never a good idea.

You want a balanced government in the congress and presidency. If you don't you're going to have either ultra liberal being passed or ultra conservative passed.

There is no way to really balance it , except in Congress. You're always going to end up with a 2 to 1 deal either way. Obama as president and both House and Senate controlled by Republicans might be the best scenario if Obama wasn't so radical.

How many budgets have congress passed and how many have Obama signed?

IIRC no budget has been sent from congress to Obama to sign.

The divide in DC is terrible on both sides.

Telemarketers Get Higher Approval Rating Than U.S. Congress- Bloomberg

Congress’s approval rating hasnx’t exceeded 20 percent in Gallup’s monthly survey since May 2011.
As of August 15, 2012, Congress had sent 79 bills to Obama this year. Many of them name post offices or convey land parcels, and most of the rest extend previously approved programs.
This year’s slow pace of legislating is reminiscent of last year’s, when lawmakers sent to Obama 90 bills that eventually became law. The 2011 output barely topped that of 1995, when 88 bills were signed into law, fewer than at any time since the Congressional Record started keeping track in 1947.

This is a "do nothing congress". Obama is not helping matters with his attitude.
