You really believe that garbage? The guy has never compromised in his life and has zero leadership abilities. He is 100% "my way or the highway". The guy would be perfectly content to sit around the next 4 years, play golf and send his family on nice vacations just like he voted present as a senator

Gallup released a poll last Tuesday that shows the Congress approval rating at a all time low of 10%.

What does that tell you?

Are you saying this congress is not a do nothing congress ?

Take your red colored glasses off and take a good look at Washington. No one can take an objective look at the WH, Senate or House for the last several years and defend either party.
Both parties put us in the mess this country is in and neither party has shown any signs of willing to work with the other side to make things better.

When the POTUS stands up and says to the Congress that he won the election and they should fall in line.... He is wrong.

When the GOP leaders of the Senate and House stand
up and say their number one priority is the make sure the POTUS is a one term president.... That is wrong.

The number one priority of every elected official in Washington should be to legislate in a way that will make the USA a better place.

Irony at its finest. You claim Obama has never compromised, yet you would go to war for Romney and cannot be convinced otherwise. Partisanship at its finest, and yep, partisanship is not synonomous with compromise.

10% unfavorablity rating tells me they are doing a great job. If any of these congressman vote for raising taxes or an unbalanced budget, they better be prepared to have a tough primary. They have passed numerous bills only to die in the senate. If the senate goes R this year, bills passed by congress will be vetoed by Obama, and we will be back at square 1

What are you even talking about? The way the country was founded is that not one person has complete control. So thats why the system of checks and balances was created, so that means that congress has just as much of an onus of them as the president as far as leadership goes. We elect these people to be leaders. You are so blinded by the red sunglasses that you ignore everything wrong with the GOP as well as the Dems.

To back up VNSF - leadership is not about having complete control at all. To suggest that the POTUS should be a strong leader is wholly consistent with the Constitution.

Leadership is critically more important when power/control is diffused as it is in our system.

As far as the duties of governance, POTUS has no more weight on his own shoulders than congress has on theirs, and that's about the most one could attribute.

The only group in the country that makes the president look wildly popular right now is congress, which includes the Republican house.

Obamas budget got zero votes, Paul Ryan's passed. Surely Obama can meet somewhere in the middle
