Since I'm reading there is no East vs West in the SEC next year

I don't understand NIL either so I haven't a clue why Nico got so much. It is also based on perceived talent at the next level - it amazes me that a player with no college experience would start out with that much when that player hasn't proven anything at that level.

I am also concerned that it could eventually result with discord with the team, especially since fans keep harping about it so much. You know ... the hey there million-dollar QB, let's see if you can do it without our help type mentality.
That is a concern. Apparently this was what happened at TaM last year. Jimbo got that #1 recruiting class and paid a bunch in NIL to them and didn't get older guys deals and there was a revolt in the locker room.

It will be whomever the commissioner feels will bring in the most revenue in the playoffs thus whomever the officials are instructed to be the most lenient toward in the most critical situations.

;)

Im sort of joking... but then again... kinda ... maybe...sorta not.

You think the current or future setup is bad? For most of its history, each SEC team could determine their own number of league games. Some played 5, 6, 7, 8. No uniformity at all. Also, we avoided playing Florida, LSU, UGA, and Miss St most of the time. Between 1956 and 1983 (27 years), Florida and TN only played 5 times. The only SEC teams we always played were Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Vandy. If this was still in place, we could try and duck UGA for 15 years at a time. Once 1992 came around, there was a uniform number of games, and an actual rotation of scheduled games.
