Goodness... I gotta vent for a minute.

But it just appears that Auburn is throwing out offers to anybody that has a pulse. I don't have the numbers in front of me so help me out (I don't have a Scout or Rivals subscription to compare our number of offers vs Auburn), does Auburn have that many more offers floating around or is it just my imagination? And why does it seem like that with the last two staffs, it seems as though we are slow playing guys or waiting so long to extend offers to guys at positions of need?

Just a little frustrated with no news coming out so far...

Who cares? Dooley and company will do their jobs. It's 11 months till signing day. I suggest you find a good book or it's going to be a loooooong summer.

I think by this time next year we'll be laughing at ourselves for worrying about the class of '11.

I agree CDD knows what he is doing and we will be just fine.

I think some of your frustration is due to that lack of news compared to the previous staffs. It is just the way it is with Dooley. Also, they are completely the opposite of that last coaching staff (that offered everyone) but sure pulled in some great recruits. Not saying that Dooley is not doing a good job of recruiting, he just has a different approach (probably similar to Saban's). He closed well last year with little time. So have faith, that he will get it done this year. Lot's of time left.
With that said, at this point it does seem quite slow now......

Ditto. Thought about replying, but realized the response would be a waste anyway.

It's possibly the dumbest logic I've seen on the board.
The last staff only had one commitment at this time last year. Guess they didn't know what they were doing either.

But Kiffin signed two of the top runningbacks in the country for the 2009 class last March and also signed Nukeese who were were estatic about at the time and stole two commitments from LSU durning February. Where Dooley on the other hand got us only Rogers Loften Hunter and Stone but also lost Ambles Willis and Calvin Smith and let a commitment that we have had for 2 years get away from us Eric MacLain. Im not saying that were screwed with Dooley as our coach im just saying he hasnt done anything at all to impress me and I dont see what he has done to impress any of yall either. Kiffin also put together a great staff. Dooley put together a decent one maybe they will turn out to be good tho everyone has to start somewhere. My point is I just dont see our football program the same way right now as I did with Kiffin this time last year. Kiffin brought excitment to the program and didnt even have to win a game. And it will take Dooley to have an upset win over Oregon and Florida to bring the same kind of excitment to our program that Kiffin had before last season ever started.

Codyg, you need to chill out. People like you expect instant results which is impossible. What is Dooley supposed to do? He inherited a program in disarray. Everytime he speaks he talks patience. Maybe you should listen to him. Kiffin talked alot of game, but backed little of it up. You need to stop, breathe, and quit worrying.
