IMO, a primarily orange helmet with white flashes might work if it were designed well but as you can see with the Kansas' uni, the colors and how they are placed can really impact the overall uniform and whether or not it works. One is an awesome alt uni. that flows (ours) and the other is simply a gray uni. You can tell who got the designer version and who got the knockoff version.

As a Papaw of a future VFL (I hope) I agree with you. I love them. Keep the T and wear them every week as far as I am concerned.

"Since I can't motivate my players to play for pride, I'm gonna try the alternate uniforms again. All the players will be fired up and everyone on Volnation will get all dewy like and say things like "boom" and "Butch gets it". By the time Vandy gets done waxing our rears I can fall back to the "brick by brick" theory and ensure the fans that help is on the way for next year. Yes it's all in the master plan.. Wear them against Georgia and lose, so we have to get great helmets to motivate us...stroke of genius
