Your view of reality is not real considering the scores of the last three games. IF we are paying Butch to satisfy the fashion desires of the players and fans then our efforts will fail. We need the coaches to teach the fundamentals of football so we can win a game.

When it comes to Vandy and/or Kentucky making our season, it truly is a sad day for UT. These have always been givens and we need to get back to that.

After the last 3 games it would be nice if the Seniors show up on Saturday night. After all, we have been waiting all season. I am tired of being highlight video for other teams on ESPN.

We're all frustrated, it's a dark time for the program. But your mockery of Butch should probably be postponed until we have the same results next year (if we do, and I don't think we will). Jmo.

They're fine. It's just that having a smokey gray uni is less cool now than it would have been 5 years ago due to the fact that it seems like every team has about 19 different uniform combinations.

Makes just having a home and away set seem somewhat trendy now.

Sorry I used to be a "give it time" guy, but my thoughts have changed. I see the Freezes and Malzahns of the world and see you can do more with less. This team has gone backwards. The false starts, busted coverages, special teams disasters are things you should improve upon over the course of a year. Worthy of criticism for sure....

I guess it is ALL about coaching ... Quality and depth have nothing to do with it! You have been beaten down by the Kiffys and Doolanders in coaching. Cheer up it's a new day in Vol Land and it will take about two recruiting classes then we will be at the level of Auburn with a good coach at the helm!

I am sure it is difficult for Tennessee fan to realize how far our program deteriorated over the last 5-8 years. Most of the few really good football player we have recruited left before they had enough experience to contribute. If domes fans can't wait for Butch to recruit players and get his offense and defense established, then they should support Memphis or some other team for the next two years. When the weather better suits them, they can come back as most have done in the past. I just don't understand how fans can be so shortsighted. They apparently have never had to start a business or take over a business which had fallen on hard times. Positive out weighs negative every time when one is seeking success.

And if you knew a damn thing about what you were talking about then you'd know that Freeze and Malzahn had just a little more to work with when they first started than what Butch inherited. But don't let that get in the way of a good lie and a meltdown.
