Or it could be that it's Senior Night, and CBJ honored the seniors by allowing them to vote on the uniform choice. Were I one of them, I'd have picked the Smokey Grey as well. Those things are sweet!

PS. I'm in total agreement they should only be worn once a year, but Senior Night has to be exempted from counting.

No, I get that and understand it. Butch said the seniors asked for it and with respect to their wishes i get it. But on the other hand, we're stooping to wearing our "special" uniform for.... Vanderbilt. That was just my gut reaction when I first saw the news.

It's just a good looking uniform, and the seniors last home game. I wouldn't get my manties in a twist over it. It's not exactly the same thing as having a stadium wide "blackout". It's just an alternate color.

Again, you're clueless. You can't wait until Jones gets his own recruits in here. You have to be like a child and expect instant gratification even when Freeze could only go 7-6 in his first year. Last I checked, Jones is doing pretty good in recruiting. Just like Freeze did in his second class and he got better results this year.

What does any of that have to do with your assertion that he inherited a better situation? That was what you claimed. That's what we were talking about. That was what I asked for evidence of (discounting that, you know, Butch has better facilities, more money, high rated players, etc. than what Freeze inherited).

Where did I compare their first two seasons?

Reading comprehension is not your strong suit, is it?

There's no counterbalance, no contrast or flow to the Kansas uniform. Just a dull gray that has no pop whatsoever and looks out of place because there's nothing that makes the uniform flash -- no careful selection of how the colors should be presented. Kansas' version is what happens when instead of being the premier school in the premier conference you're the small school on the sponsor's list and simply get the generic version without regard to design. There's nothing wrong with Kansas' colors that should make their alt. uni fail but it does because of placement and usage.

Our white helmets look out of place against the smokey grey uniforms. It just looks awkward. Helmet needs to be smokey grey with the orange power T.

Take whatever advantage you can get. I don't like wasting it or even needing this extra motivation at this point in the season against this opponent...but you do whatever you have to do to win. Period.

Honestly I wouldn't be against making the grey and orange our main uniform. There's only so much you can do with 1 color (orange) and white. It can become stale. Adding grey to the Orange and white adds another layer to what we can do with our uniforms. Its a welcome change that's classy and tastefully executed.

Hopefully they 'smoke' Vandy Saturday night. Those unis will not have the same luster as before if they go 0-2 in them.

So CBJ doesnot let the seniors of team 117 wear the uniforms they want to wear in their last game at home. OK
