So against a seasoned OK D, how many rushing yards for UT?

I just hope our team shows up. If they read any of the hundreds of we don't have a snowball's chance posts they're gonna beat like tied up goat stuff they may just want to foreit and save the injuries. Boy and I have been looking forward to this game for a long time. Oh well.

Their cupcakes averaged 70. Some in garbage time but regardless. We've averaged about 140 in our first two games. We should see right around 100.

Good grief hide the razor blades. Their cupcakes averaged more yards and better stats.

Their cupcakes got to play against the OU 3rd string D for most of the 3rd and the entire 4th quarter of both games, and one of those cupcakes has a better offense (other than WRs) than Tennessee does right now. Tennessee won't get to face the scrubs, unless they are down 70-7, given Bob's stated goals for this game.

This isn't a razor blade situation, just realism. Tennessee will be better next year, but are just totally outmanned in this current matchup at all the wrong places. There's no reason to be ashamed if and when this OU team pitches a near shutout.

I'm an OU and Tennessee fan with Vols season tickets. I'm just keeping it real. The only team that will run for meaningful damage on this Sooner D all year might be Auburn.

If UT rushes for 100 it will have lost this game by 40+, and get half those yards in garbage time.

Part time vol fan full time troll maybe. Even the cupcakes had as many yards in their 1st half as you give us for a whole game. No way does Bob risk his starters for 4 quarters if it is as overwhelmingly dominant as you say.

I would say a lot of misdirection, reverses and screens. We need to get them going the wrong way and up field as much as possible. I expect Pig to have a big role, unfortunately we are really going to miss Pearson. #9 would be a big part of my hypothetical game plan. Josh Smith IMO will get some looks at JET carries. I also think Devrin Young will get more snaps.

Edit: 137 yard rushing.

Sucks about VP, he is a game changer, but I have a feeling #3 is going to have a breakout game in Norman and the football world will know the name Josh Malone after Saturday night.

Just imagine what happens if we only rush for 30 like your troll calculator shows then.

That would actually mean the game is quite a bit closer, since Tennessee would be passing a lot on first and second down. If TN has 30 yards rushing and 210 passing, this game might be about 28-14.

You just think I am trolling; I am not at all.

Bravo for Oklahoma shutting down the run game of a 3-9 Tulsa team and a 4-8 La Tech team.

You must be so proud.

Do I have to remind you that Tennessee has NEVER lost 8 games in a season?

And there is only one other college in the country that has never done that either. Even 'Bama has had some pretty ****e seasons, I think they went 0-10 like 60 years ago one season.
