i am not negative, just tired of the same ol crap, i started some we gonna beat bama this year threads and others i want us to win more than anyone on this site. some of you folks are just way out there. you should see me get fans riled at the games in my section. usually though i am the only yelling cause the rest have given up or are reading a book or just bored. And no I don't drink. so think what you will. if you don't me don't read my posts or threads.

Well I feel a lot more comfortable knowing they aren't both D2. I'm not gonna be upset with only 6 wins. 3 OOC wins, Mizzu, Auburn and UK should be wins easily. Had Bray stayed i'd expect at least one more win. I know thaT Dooley hurt the teams chances and they are better than what they were, but I'm not gonna hound on Jones if 6 wins is all he can do.

Nope, just make a bowl game... Schedule is brutal, and this is a first year staff, and a new scheme for our players..

Vanderbilt? Where's pansybilt? Don't fall for the idea that since they spanked us last year when the team basically gave up under the fine leadership trifecta of Dooley/Sunseri/Bray that somehow we're gonna be in a dogfight with those sissies this year. Don't believe it! I say you mark Pansybilt down as a for sure W all day long.

Otherwise I'm with you on everything else.

Edit: sorry but I gotta self-admitted irrational loathing of Vandy so I refuse to give those losers even an inch of respect.

Last year was a blip on the radar. There's a reason why they are 2-28 vs us the last 30 years, 5-47 the last 52. We sucked last year, but their 9 win season, while historic based on their standards, was easily the most unimpressive 9 win season I've ever seen.

Don't blame you for the wait n see attitude, but I'm not there. Vandy "comes back to earth", UT whips their collective arse and world is back in balance. Just my humble, albeit confident, opinion.

Yep.

The only thing I might differ with ya on is I dont think vandy "comes back to earth". To me it's more that other sec teams, mostly Tennessee, climbs out of the ashes we've been in and slams the peabodys back into the bottom of the composte heap where they belong.

Agree. You stated it better than me. The pansies are definitely better than they've been and they have more quality players than they've ever had. That being said, their talent level is still near the bottom of the league. A well coached and motivated UT team wins the game at Vandy last year. I believe we are about to get back to annually "kicking the sh!t out of Vanderbilt" .... to turn a phrase.

To be bowl eligible you have to have 6 wins of which you can count one win against FCS (aka D1-AA) teams.

Austin Peay is FCS.
South Alabama is FBS since last year.

I just want to see continuous improvement. That's rise to the top baby! If we can just get to a bowl game. I'll be happy, because we need December practice with the legacy class EE's
