thats what drew me here to begin with. there is a lot of speculation, but there is also a lot of inside information that gets tossed around a lot faster than other outlets. there are a lot of credible individuals on here and there are also not so credible people. but anyways glad your here to share.

caskew, I think you got off on the wrong foot with several posters for a simple reason. It's hard to tell intent with text. I don't think anyone was accusing you of lying or making things up necessarily (I know I wasn't, and I apologize if you took it that way). I was just saying that I did not believe that a QB was going to be on campus this weekend for 09 class. That could mean a number of things: 1) the coaches were talking about a CB or other position; 2) It was an unofficial for 2010; 3) You misheard it in some other way that no one has thought of. Welcome to Volnation. Post early and often - I know that simply being on campus gives you some insight that many do not have here.

My point is that this is the only conclusion one could draw from you comments...that McCarron was visiting....go back and look at your comments....whether or not it is what you meant, it is the impression you left.

The only reason I said McCarron is because he was on the visit list on govolsxtra.com at the time. I see what you're saying though.... I didn't mean the staff said anything about McCarron.

wow, leave for a few hours and there ends up being a brand new thread 8 pages long about whether or not someone heard something or if they were even there. Thats why the people that usually stay out of the recruiting board should do just that.

:clapping: same goes for me caskew. i dont think you were lying and i know that when the recruits get to campus they are shown around and the haslem building is certainly where i would try to sell them on academics. i was just saying i wasnt ready to buy it hook line and sinker bc i dont want to get my hopes up. but i do still hope youre right.
