It was a stupid move by stupid people.
The penalty was not commensurate with the transgression, which is the most important point. It was an ineffective childish knee jerk reaction which achieved nothing other than to increase the Justins’ fame and popularity and to bring derision on Tennessee.
It would have been far wiser to censure all three and move on.
