Just an observation. UF fans have just had a quiet confidence over the past decade as they've beaten us. In here they've been able to just chuckle and move things along as UT fans get overhyped.

This year it seems that here and otherwise I see UF fans trying to convince us and themselves that they will win.

Maybe it's nothing. But I like looking at the rosters and quietly saying to myself "we should win this game."

On all of volnation this is the only thread with UF people talking about UF.

This same stuff happens every year. Those of us that peruse your board see stupid stuff said about UF, almost every year, and we give our input on it.

And every year someone starts a stupid thread or makes a comment about how we're afraid or something.

Tis the offseason.

As if Dobbs is playing behind Nebraska's '95 o-line. I missed where I said OL depth wasn't a concern for us.

If Grier stays healthy, Harris probably won't start another game at UF.

McElwain is saying all the right things about not naming a starter, but Grier outperformed Harris in spring drills and again in fall camp.

You really think our O Line is as bad as yours? Don't you have a 5th year transfer from a lower tier D-1 school walking right in and starting? If he was good, wouldn't he have gone pro?

I do think our backup will play at some point and I think our O Line is much better than yours. So, I'll be shocked if Grier makes it through the year. A quick release will be his friend. Not sure how mobile he is, but I would bet he couldn't catch Harris running in a straight line.

You guys have a roster full of OGs with bo true LT unless you throw Richmond out there early.

As for Halter he's a 2time FCS AA with 29 starts. He got a late round grade from NFL so he decided on the Grad transfer route. Two other SEC schools, Duke and Mich State reached out to him. I'm not saying he'll save the season but others believed he has talent to play on the Power 5 level.

We'll see.
