The logic is simple.
UT should never finish behind Vanderbilt in football recruiting or on the field in football.
It should be every Vol fans birthright to expect to be better than Vandy and Kentucky in football.
Almost a century of dominance over that program in Nashville gives Vol fans the right to expect that.
Period.
I guess Florida is saying the same thing about Tennessee to their fans under 20 years old. It's a birthright for them to expect to be better than Tennessee. The logic is simple.

Actually it is. And Florida would be right.
Call me whatever fan you like, but the plain truth is UF has owned us the last 20 years. Period.
Florida has dominated the last 20 years. That was my point. Just because that is so, doesn't mean it's a birthright. Any school can turn things around. It happens all the time. The whole "I'm better than you because of my heritage" thing is a completely outdated idea.
You are right, I forgot about all the Nick Sabans, Steve Spurriers, and Kevin Sumlins he was coaching and recruiting against at his last two stops.
