Keep stealing Coaches from SC, they have a better track record than the bama coaches we took in. Or LSU, they seem to be spawning RBs left and right.
 
Well, I think Larry Porter would be the best hire because if his ties to Memphis but I don't see him leaving LSU. Roy Manning would be a decent hire from a staff continuity standpoint. I think everyone wants a splash hire which will not happen.

I can answer that. He is the guy that does exactly what Saban tells him to do, when he tells him to do it.

Of course that is every other coach at Bama too, so that may not have helped much.
 
Maybe Butch just didn't want JG to stay. This way he gets rid of him without quite as much flack as if he'd fired him & can get who he wants.

So CBJ orchestrated FSU offering Jay a contract to coach down there and then he made sure Jay accepted? So he could get rid of arguably his best recruiter (even though he can't land a freakin rb)? Ok. Just checking.
 
So I guess Phil always scheduling two BCS teams OOC games was not his doing. Or Saban scheduling at Bama, or Miles at LSU.

A lot of coaches have a lot of input and give a yay/nay about who they play. Granted its the final say with the AD, but if a coach says he wants to play a top 5 team, he gets it. On the flip side, if a coach says I don't wanna play a top 5 team, he doesn't. Its 50/50 on scheduling bro.

I'm talking about SEC cross division games not out of Conference games.

They are developing many future elite RB.
It would help with that area for recruiting.
That is the way to develop better coach team interaction as well. Someone who is very good at identifying with HS RBs.

I think everyone has just gotten further and further in the hole with flashy hires. They cost more, and there is certainly a valid return on investment. However, there is also higher risk. The flashy hire also increases the odds of having personnel conflict. To many chiefs ... so to speak. Give me a coach that can relate to these players, and help them with the transition from HS. That is who is going to get these kids ready to be inspired by the game plan ... buy in.
RB coach is not required to be a flashy hire, they just need to do dat thang.
Is the Norcross Coach avail.

We must be ahead of the curve then because we've managed to to it with a bunch of dog-faced hires. I'm sure everyone will be following our model soon :rock:
