You've been around women's college softball for 37 years? Wow, that's impressive. It's even longer than every school in the SEC, save for South Carolina, has even had softball. You get credit for being an early adopter. I'm glad that you use that depth of knowledge to come on a message board to rip on 18-22-year old women while still somehow not having a firm grasp of what you claim to be an expert on and having nothing positive to say at any point.
Now that's out of the way, how about some more of those facts that you find inconvenient to your opinion: No hitter on the team is "forced" into the 2-strike squaring up. In fact, less than a third of the players on the team currently do it. One has been doing it literally her entire life. But the ones that do have found success and comfort with it.
You never did it in men's fastpitch. Great. We'll have to take your word for that, you mentioned baseball last time, so I just followed your lead on making false equivalencies. You know who did square with two strikes? Lauren Haeger is one of the greatest hitters in SEC history and she showed bunt with two strikes every time. Lauren Chamberlin and Keilani Ricketts hold every Oklahoma offensive record and they both did it, and beat our ass in the process in 2013.
Thanks for the note on my integrity, I'm glad I know where I stand with Mr. Anonymous Internet Poster Smart Guy.
