I wouldn't let Ron Howard direct traffic.

Who did direct "Traffic"? Because that was a kick a$$ movie.

Anyway, "Solo" looks entertaining to me, but I love Woody, Glover, Newton, Bettany and Dani from "GoT" (went blank on her real name and I probably like her more for her looks than acting). Plus, dude playing Han seems like a younger version of that character to me, even tho I have no idea who he is. My wife even said, she would go to the movies and watch this one with me. Which is rare. She almost never watches comic book and/or Sci-Fi movies with me.

Soderbergh...who is ten times the director Howard is.

Traffic is terrible and Solo gonna be great...

Yeah we don't need to talk about movies with each other.

Ok. Sex, Lies, and Videotape was a good one, but Traffic largely wasn't. I like the content material of Solo a lot.

Yeah he just won a Oscar for directing Traffic, what trash. I'm sure Ron Howard will deliver a vastly superior product regurgitating the disney/star wars guidebook.

Dude, Moonlight and Crash won an Oscar too.

Sidenote: not sure why you are going out of your way to act like an a$$hole. We are just talking movies here.

Cider House Rules also won an Oscar. Winning an Oscar doesn't move the needle for anyone on whether it's actually a good movie or not.

I would love to see what Denis Villanueve (Blade Runner 2049) could do with a Star Wars film or Ridley Scott... or hell, even James Cameron.

So many great actors who could capture the essence of Han better..and they pick that guy? Stupid stupid stupid...and the fact he is so dang short makes it even worse. Han was always my favorite character as a kid. Luke was awesome to me and my friends as well, but he just wasn't cool at all till RotJ.

We all wanted that Millenium Falcon toy set, and we always fought over who got to be Han. I love that they are doing a movie, but I hate their choice of actor.

Of the other actors that auditioned for the role (or even who didn’t) who do you think would have been a better fit? Not being a jerk, just curious. I mean I think this guy was a better pick than Miles Teller or Dave Franco...
