I really enjoyed it. Critics reviews are spot on, the first 30 minutes or so is a little much, its basically non-stop action with little to no attempt to build a plot-line or elaborate on why you should care who lives or dies during these action scenes.
As the movie progresses however, it really taps into its strong points. Lots of smuggling, lots of backstabbing, and some pretty fun action scenes.
There is definitely a moment towards the end thats already been mentioned in the spoiler tags and its quite the interesting turn of events in the Star Wars world.
I do have one bit of a gripe... the comic relief in this one was a droid, and it seemed to me they tried to cash in on the popularity of K-2SO in Rogue One, but it was a failed attempt. She caused a few chuckles here and there, but ultimately she was flat. The scene that made the audience erupt with laughter the most didnt involve her.
